  • very smooth pipe section, btw real sides play it trad not match ;p

he probably can also take a bit more adventuring with that snare line

A congratulations on a smooth run from Malaysia though =D

  • I want to make this my alarm clock. HAH! Nothing better then waking up to the sound of Steam Train to Mallaig. Just makes me want to play outside and wake the neighbors!

  • A great version but I have to give this to the lads of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. they do it bloody well!

  • They do indeed, but I like the way this starts slowly and builds up speed like a steam train.

  • Sounds nice!

  • You all do Tucson Proud!

  • Awesome. "a few mistakes" is requisite for pipe tunes. If ever a tune is played perfectly, you've quit listening to it.

  • Amazing!!! i get so excited when i hear this song

  • That is awesome. We played this at Hargrave Military Academy, definitely one of my most favorite to play

  • Great Job! Ya'll have done a fansinating job. Our School Band is learning to play this song. We're almost there. Oh i'm a piper as well.

  • You gave Royal Scots Dragoons a run for their money ;) x

  • Your snare drummer has a good rythm, and ur bass is perfect. How long have you been practising together?

The only bad thing was a double tone at one point, and a few mistakes, but nobody is perfect ;)

  • @MeefShmeef - Thanks for the bassing compliment. And actually for this tune, I am the tempo and the Pipe major and the rest of the band come along with me. I am indeed visualizing a train trip, which is partly why you see me swaying back and forth a little bit. Actually, we dust this one off once in a while and will play it for a show - so we've probably done something like eight run-throughs together by showtime - of course, each section practices a bit on their own. Cheers.

  • Great job guys.

  • Does anyone know where i can get a Free MP3 Download For this?

  • Send me your e-mail and I'll send you the MP3.

  • can u send it to me as well... thanx..
