case were one top band,remember thier name being plastered on walls+bridges all over south london,lucky enough 2 see em a few times,they even played the old marquee on wardour st,im sure the lead singer went out or married baby greensleaves out of splodgenessabounds,i thought they were gonna be quiet big,shame they never brought out more than just the one ep,i wouldnt say they were a oi! band but they came out at about that time,remember gary bushell raving on about them in sounds(r.i.p)..oi!oi!

I have that Oi! design on my flight jacket. Jamaican and 2Tone Ska, "Skinhead Reggae" and Oi! for anyone learning about traditional skinhead, are the main musics of the scene. Also google mods and rudeboys - all related.

This song comes from their only vinyl release which was an EP called "Wheat from the chaff" and the b side to this was smiling my life away which was more of a ska/oi crossover

I have this on 'Oi! Chartbusters Volume 4' (Link LP 054 - 1988. Here are the sleeve notes: 'When Oi! first came to the nations attention in 1981 Case were one of the names that regularly appeared in the colomns of Sounds (music paper), but those recordings never really saw the light of day. This track is taken from their only vinyl release, on Sus Records, and features Derwent, later of the Upstarts and Long Tall Shorty, and a horn section that later found fame with Spear of Destiny'.
