Exactly one month before I was born(if I was in 89 that is). funny thing, because when I was 7, 8, 9 I was obsessed with the Weather Channel and it's music.
Good Point, I remember they played this song in the late 80's, I believe either in 88 and 89. Back then TWC used to have great music, in fact, that was only reason why I watched the TWC. In a way this was my first introduction to contemporary jazz. I tried to get Constructive Criticism by Omar Hakim in its entireity on iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody, but the song is not there. I hope to get for my iPod someday.
Back in the 90s I watched the weather channel religiously. yes, I was obsessed with the weather channel, but the music was a great part of it as well. i remember when they used to play the "spring" song (you know, the classical violin song?)
Anyway, yes, I had my favorite songs. Whoever got the job for assigning music for the local forecasts over the past 11 or so years has really dropped the ball.
That's ridiculous, there is not even any pictures...ugh, I am too old for this...

I remember this song playing when I lived in Montgomery, ALabama in 1989 and a friend was over at our house.
