I found a clip of Haig from a movie called "It's a Bikini World" on YouTube where he has a full head of hair. According to the IMDB it was released a year before Spider Baby. The clip is called "Pat & Lolly Vegas- Walk On".
Love that nod to "Wolfman" when the "Horror Fan" lady growls enthusiastically and then Lon says - "There's a full moon tonight." I need to get a copy of this gem soon so I can see the whole thing... because I'm loving it thus far.
I added a link to the full movie in the INFO for this video. There are three formats available for downloading. The links are on the top left of the page. Right click the link to save.
I absolutely loved Jill Banner, the girl that played Virginia. Looks like she was in a couple other independant horror films in the 60's that I'd like to check out.
I read that on IMDB. Very sad. I also noticed that some of the alternate titles for Spider Baby were Cannibal Orgy and The Liver Eaters. Got a good laugh out of that!
I can see the Addams Family influences her, plus I can tell that Rob Zombie was inspired by Spider Baby when he made House Of 1,000 Corpses, especially when he named Sheri Moon's character Baby. And Tiny must have been modeled after Ralph. Of course, Sid Haig had to be in it, too. He was incredible as Captain Spaulding. He was my favorite character.
I believe this actually pre-dates the Addams Family (at least the TV version from which the family got it's name...not sure if Charles Addams called his family that in the New Yorker comic panels)
"Are you a Wolfman fan, Ann?" Priceless.

Just finished watching this movie in its entirety. I loved it! Way ahead of it's time, and spooky as hell.

It's a pretty cool movie and I'm surprised it isn't better known. It's creepy and funny and has some pretty good performances in it.

Yeah, she was awesome. It's sad she never had the kind of career that her talent warranted and she died so young.

Then the actress did a good job. I'm sure that the character was meant to be both a bitch and annoying.

I'm sorry about my first post. I just had to call their aunt a bitch. She really annoys me.
