Now as for them charging you MORE money for a password is a straight ripoff!. Come on now. I agree with what someone said below you may have needed the original disc that came with the PC an d/l it back over.
patience is a virtue =).....I wish people would learn how 2 talk 2 people & u handled that situation very well u stayed calm, very respectful, & PATIENT. Had u just blown up @ the lady on the phone she wouldn't have been so nice I bet she called the owner 4 the approval 2 waive the fee as soon as she hung up wit u it was just a miscommunication if u r not a computer geek u r not going 2 understand the lingo. . . just B patient & never except the 1st no I want someone hire up than u 2 tell me no
They should have asked more questions to be sure they understood what you meant. No knock on you, but not everyone is in the "computer industry" and not everyone uses "computer company lingo". So if there was more than one meaning for "blue screen" then she should have asked you specifically what that meant! Glad it worked out though!!

good cusomer service is always the key to keeping a customer and also with you beng calm cool & collected about it helped the situation. Usually customers will curse out a customer rep or whoever it may be. It could've been a whole different outcome if you had gone off. Great job to you too!!!!!
