  • Greg Kihn is a DJ at KUFX radio in San Jose, California. He's been there since about 1994

  • We´ll never forget these seasons

  • Like, this is totally bitchin. I freakin' love this video. :-) (In honor of Moon Unit Zappa, who turns 43 today.)

  • Is the priest telling Greg Kihn to pork his bride, or get out the ring??!!

  • I was born in 84 so sadly didn't get to listen to AT40 in the 80's. But I'm catching up every week. NO ONE can beat Casey Kasem!!!

  • @xmaddict Are ya able to catch American top 40: the 80s, either on your local station, or streamin' on your computer? God bless!

  • Brooks Robinson made the MLB Hall of Fame that year

  • I didn't know you had commercials on these AT10 videos! I'm gonna have to dig through these now! Got this one on a search for WNEW on YT!!!! Real interesting to see these great ads (love the 5200 ad), and I didn't know WNEW was still referring to themselves as The Choice as late as '83!

  • i miss the 80s good times just wish i remembered more i was a kid then

  • All memorable songs from my 8th grade year. 1983 was electric.

    Groove on Casey

  • i wanna go back please please i wanna go back to the 80's

  • Take me with you !!!! Please,, im in

  • Fantastic songs in the top 10!!! Never be like that again!

  • I remember this so well, thank you for posting this!

  • wow this is like a time capsule. kudos!!

  • Hey Scoob!

  • Perfect video to watch this close to Halloween.

  • The 80's were the best! 1983 was especially great! Music these days suck ass!

  • This is great! This is one of my two or three favorite weeks ever for pop music (check out the whole Top 40 for the week -- many more songs like these). Thanks for posting.

  • This is just plain AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • What's so striking about this is that this is just the top 10 for ONE week in 1983, yet all of those songs are STILL classic songs today! I bet nobody will even remember this weeks number 1 song twenty years from now, let alone the rest of the top 10 today. It just shows you the sorry state of music today compared to the 80's.

  • You're not kidding. The 70s and 80s were great years for music. I have a feeling that there will be lots of remakes in the near future.

  • true. unfortunately today record companies just want quick hits. they used to develop artists who wrote songs and performed.

  • I agree with that, today's music today doesn't mean anything. The best music era in the history always will be the 80s.

  • It's soooooo cool to have you back here at You Tube please keep on uploading more of AT 10 & some other shows that you might have thanks :)
