I was there as a 16 Expert. All I needed to do was beat 1 person in the Semis. Drew the inside lane, freaking my luck. Got a good start and on the 1st turn I was in the lead on the inside and everyone fell and toppled on me. Twisted my bars sideways and finished last. All I could hear was my Mom yelling Pedal Pedal, Get up, Get up. I was friggin furious. Drove all the way from Los Angeles to a stupid indoor and lame designed track. Yup, 29 years later and still pissed. Just kidding. Lol
I was at this race, actually beat darrell young, but his chain came off, a win is a win I guess lol, Looking at this video, the first race with eisenberg looked pretty cheap, he didn't stay his line at all. I knew billy back in the day, he could have easily won both of these races. brian gass was a good rider at orange also.
@parksmoke88 Back in those days, stuff like that happened all the time. It was like MMA on a bike. lol. Guys stickin' their legs out, being elbowed in the corners, getting cut off in the straight aways. As long as you win. That's all that counted.
Sweet. I raced in the 12 novice division and qualified for day 2 but ate it on that jump in the 1st turn. Great time though, playing Joust at the arcade at night.

I took 3rd in 16X behind Gary Ellis and Rich Farside at this race. If you were there, you remember how dusty it was inside that building!

what years did you race from, I raced from 1986 through 1996, but I only rqced in ABA and never in NBL, Gary Ellis was pro when I first started
