@SpainGabry MLP antes no conocia la amistad (un monton de palabras forzadas en un verso tan pequeño suena horrible) "un buen corazon, leal y fiel" el verso de applejack esta horrible y aun asi llega fluttershy y lo caga con un "compañeros para compartir" super desafinado "esta es la magia esta es la amistad" una redundancia en un mismo verso, es un doblaje de cancion no un cotorreo de viejas chismosas...si vas a criticar un doblaje, primero mira los errores del tuyo. latina 2 - española 1

y en la primera parte hay un error, ENORME, en la parte de applejack, cuando dice: "La comida es menos cada vez no podemos ya crecer.." en la version original dice "But the food we've stored is running out, and we can't grow in this cold" and we can't grow in this cold ... grow se refiere aqui a CULTIVAR y lo que en realidad deberia haber dicho es "Y la comida escasea mas y no podemos cultivar"

El modo en que lo tradujeron da la impresion de que estan tomando el invierno y lo empaquetan con papel.

Names like Neruda, Federico Garcia Lorca, Sor Juana Ines de La Cruz, Lope De Vega, Miguel De Cervantes and Octavio Paz are famous for a reason. Don't take my word for it. Check online by yourself.

Seriously, don't bother to learn it, there are better languages to learn like hindi or japanese. Spanish is not a powerful language and will never be important, the fact that a whole continent speak it don't make the idiom worth learning, most of the people who speak the language hardly can understand themselves, even our vocabulary is repetitive we can't create new words and we're forced to use the same words over and over again, like in this song or the books you have read.

I'm from Venezuela, and as much as I would have loved to be born in USA or Canada I must say Spanish is a very rich and beautiful language, specially in literature. However, some dubs like this one makes me sad, Mexico used to do far better dubs.

I'm trying to improve my mastery of Spanish given that we have lots of Spanish speakers, (and it also means better opportunities to get a job that interacts with them). Like French, it's easier for me to read and write. Speaking it, it's another matter. That's why I quoted writers like Sor Juana and Neruda.

Totally agreed on the better dubs that Mexico used to make. I lived close to the border, and got broadcasts from there in the 80's.

but latinos (latin in english for some reason) are the spanish speakers who live in america (the fucking continent not the US) aka the hispanics. the difference between the latin spanish and the european spanish is pretty huge, since we use different dialects and words.
