@freakyandsexy hell naw she don't jem was that shit. i just read Jem is one of the highest rated show on the hub. the 90s are all that - the classic nick block on teen nick is gettin some high ratings 2. that prove this generation don't have shit lol
Anybody notice Peter (Optimus Prime) Cullen's awesome voice over on the Thundercats commercial? This is a really cool commercial block vid! This is the reason I Loved television back then.
@carlejomom78 I like '80s cartoons like *Inspector Gadget,* *He-Man,* *Voltron,* *Dennis the Menace,* *G.I. Joe,* *Transformers,* and *The Real Ghostbusters.* Oh, and I subscribed to your channel and added you as a friend just now.
I hated those stupid "fruity" cereals. They always had the same one taste no matter what marshmallow color it was. I always felt ripped off and wanted to powerbomb that girl for lying to me as a kid!
Ducktales came on WEEKEDAYS, and very few stations in that day would show weekday toon bumpers on the weekend because the toy companies bought up all the space.
@bigprettyk1 I USE TO HAVE THE JEM DOLLS WITH THE CASSETTES ALONG WITH BARBIES CABBAGE PATCH KIDS,ETC.I MISS THE 80S BACK WHEN CARTOONS WERE AWESOME AND TOTALLY RAD!!
me too jem is still my fav cartoon to this day, they funny thing is that when that commercial aired jem was just about off the air which is why it was on at 7:30 am. it is was in syndication already.
Ahh the 80's. When boys could go to Toys R us and get an arsenal of toy guns. I could have waged a war from the stockpile I had in my room. Funny thing is, it never made me a violent person. Seriously what fun is youth if you cant shoot your brother in the head with a red plastic dart lol
Seeing this makes me feel bad for kids today. If they don't have cable, they've got nothing. And even if they have cable, they don't get as wide a mix of shows as we used to get.
It's amazing that back then we could never fathom the idea of a DVD volume/boxset or that shows like Ducktales, Thundercats, (etc.) would be available in their entirety. I recognized every episode of Thundercats & Ducktales shown in those promos BY NAME! Weird.
I want some fruity marshmallow krispies.Or a time machine.

Thunder cats were the greatest. I think I've seen them on the boomerang channel. Cereal commercials really aren't like they used to be.

@steelangelriver *ThunderCats* never aired on Boomerang.
