both fallout 3 and borderlands are good. Fallout 3 though has more of a story though but still stories in games don't make them. You could argue that the game mechanics is better than the other game but in the end, all your really doing is just killing monsters with guns. To me, fallout 3 gave me more choice with the karma system, making your own character, doing quests however you see fit, and so on. However borderlands lacks all those features making it dull and not as fun to me

They patched the game to lower item quality averages and replace the red Gun Cases with white Footlockers, and Eridian/Alien weapons never spawn in White Footlockers, only Red Gun Crates. Sad to say that new haven farming is done since it became so easily exploitable.

Chin up. Second play you get plenty, which you may never use. There is always a drawback on those rare weapons. Like a killer 4X fire smg w no scope or AR that shoots a round every 15 seconds. Your class mods will offset most of those weapons with better ones less rare. Keep comparing before you sell or drop.

I think every "rare gun" video people post on youtube is allways going to be in new haven. ~_~ There's a box in THE DECENT that has a high chance of giving you an eridian shotgun. It's the one REALLY big circular area where there's a lot of lance and flying guardians fighting each other. look down from the cliff side and there'll be a red box against a pillar of rock. Most of the time there's one there.
