@98TacomaOwner so tell me why i am a bastard?..someone who is ignorant is someone uneducated,,i'm ignorant cuzz i speak the truth?..and i dare put down the mighty toyota motor company?..i dont worship the ground toyotas drive on?..so that makes me a bad person?...i am not nieve enuff to swallow any and everything toyota tells me so that makes me bad cuzz i am man enuff to make up my own mind and have my own opinion and i dont fallow the crowd?,...
@98TacomaOwner i must be an outcast because i dare bad mouth the high and mighty toyota right?..no one dares talk bad about the great toyota motor company ,,,and anyone who owns anything but a toyota must be a redneck right?..only educated ppl drive toyotas ..you like toyota thats fine..but i choose not to kneel down and kiss the feet of toyota and thank them for being here ..i dont pray to the toyota god .am i a clown?..do i amuse you??..
@390merc65 You don't have to like Toyota, but don't go ranting on a TOYOTA video about how you don't like them. And I was saying that you are ignorant on the subject. Guess where Toyotas are built???? America. Guess where Chevy's and Ford's are built?
@98TacomaOwner well to correctly answer your question ,,i can do it head on ..or i can give you the answer you are fishing for or are trying to insinuate that all fords are made in mexico and all toyota's are made here right?...first off ..not all toyota's are built in the US so trying to make it look like toyota is more american then ford ,,toyota still imports some of its vehicles...sorry i dont not have the exact figure's at my fingertips of those number's though , but if all toyotas cont>
@98TacomaOwner but if all toyota's were built there..the profit still go's to japan and even though toyota builds vehicles here , most of the american toyota workforce is made up of part timer's and temp worker's ,,and generally a full time employee makes less then if he or she worked full time at ford,GM or chrysler ..now the second question ..ford is global just like toyota so you must ask a more precise question on exactly were fords are built..ford makes many many different cont>
@98TacomaOwner ford makes many different cars all through out the world much like toyota..in fact ford has been global longer then toyota is even in business.ford makes a variety of vehicles for many different car markets around the world..if you are insinuating ford no longer builds vehicles in the US then that statement is totally false ,,ford still builds cars and trucks right here on US soil and a small % of fords are made in mexico and sold here ,ford has been in mexico long before cont>
@98TacomaOwner ford has been in mexico and south america for many decades ..long before you even knew anything about ford ..and you might not believe this but ford builds vehicles in mexico ,,and they stay in mexico for that car market .so trying to make it sound like ford left americans high and dry and ran to mexico for cheap labor is 100% totally wrong and incorrect ..ford has about 40 assembly plants world wide so your question is vague and incomplete ..but i hope that helped
@98TacomaOwner you are correct.i do not care for toyota brand vehicles at all ..but since you insinuated like toyota is built were and ford is built were as to imply toyota is all american ..let me ask you a question?..since when did toyota become american?now dont get having toyota assemble vehicles here [AS AMERICAN] .because there is a big difference ,and if you think toyota is so american like you might think and they claim.then why did they mot help this country at 9/11????
@98TacomaOwner oh..and maybe you dont know this little fact about toyota..most toyota cheerleaders do not know this fact..or hate to admit it.but even their american assembled japanese car is built with products from mexico as well ....aint that ironic now????
@ktmrider53 the only thing i cant get over is ppl who worship toyota and are blind ...sorry dude..i dont pray to the toyota god,,,funny..i only hear how well toyotas are from the cheerleaders like yourself..yet ppl who [ACTUALLY] buy trucks for their business do not use or buy toyotas..dont you think they know something?..
@ktmrider53 nope sorry...nothing is..the only thing close to being from china is the sony cd player and the 6x9 speakers in the doors from japan ..unlike your truck with china made ujoints and many other parts..and remember?..buy american..the next job you save my be your own
@390merc65 Never will. My Front end and whole car was made in Japan. Will ALL Japanese parts. There not like American's with scattered around the world parts. Take a look at a modern Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Or ANY non-American car.
@ktmrider53 i highly dought your japanese made car is 100% japanese parts ,,and if its a toyota it sure as hell aint 100% japanese ,,take a look around and see the parts toyota use's that are from around the world ,,they are the cheapest , penny pinching car company out there and love to pay a 14 year old kid $2.00 a week in some 3rd world country ,,and i will bet all japanese cars are not 100% that are made in japan ,,and being made in japan is nothing to brag about
@ktmrider53 wait a minute here cowboy..now you tell me a toyota is not american?..glad to see you are comming out from underneath that rock you were under..and here is something most ppl like to thro into faces of ppl who buy american cars cuzz some parts aint american ..it is totally impossible for any domestic car maker to use 100% american parts even if they wanted too ..the government mandates a certain % of parts must be foreign ,,i bet some are on your nissan
@390merc65 You don't understand. I have a NISSAN. If you look at the vin number, it Has a "O" for being built in the USA. Then "J" for being built in Japan. I would rather have a Japanese built car any day. That's funny, my motor, trans, axles and frame are all MADE IN THE USA. Witch I fucking hate.
@ktmrider53 this comment makes no sense ..you say it has a 0 for being built in the states then you say it has the motor trans axles and frame made in the states,,,so what is it?,,
@ktmrider53 good..so whats the problem?,,and american companie's are built in mexico?..i guess the ppl working at all those ford plants did not get your memo on this cuzz they are still there and still building ford products in america ..do you really believe every and all ford products are made in mexico?..read some history on ford before you make any claims ,and maybe one day you will drop that small truck and man up to a real truck ,and remember?..buy american
@390merc65 I don't know if you guys know this or not but some Hondas are built in mexico like the CRV's and sheesh they smell horrible when we get them.
i have 400,000 on my '01 tacoma, but i had to replace the fuel pump at 390,000. still, i'm not complaining since that's all that's ever gone out on it.
i have 400,000 on my '01 tacoma, but i had to replace the fuel pump at 390,000. still, i'm not complaining since that's all that's ever gone out on it.
i had a ford f250 with a 351 4 barrel and it finally died at 650,000 miles on it and i traded it in for a 95 ford f250 diesel that has almost 400000 miles on it
Mostly every part in a car is designed to last forever. It's all up to the owner of the car. If you stay on top of things like oil, trans fluid, and your brakes. You won't have any problems with your car.
Damn i thought my dads 89 dogde made it far with 350k + p.s we pulled two trees without truck braking with high miles lol but damn this. vid/comments shit on tht milage.
The last time ford or chevy had this kind of miles was when they swap put the motor for a toyota . Lets face the fact the clown that own the ford said he drive a ford just because he love fixing cars. I can believe you. You are so dumb, it's not that we hate ford we just hate fixing car every others days like you ford owners
@joe72907290 Congrats you are officially a complete fucking idiot. American cars are made in Mexico, Japanese USDM cars are made in the United States. So unfortunately , this guy is supporting our economy more then you.
@1993hondaaccord You realize only 1/4 of that money stays in America right? The rest goes back to the main office in Japan or where ever. So he's really helping more than buying American right?
@MrIloveprettyboys Even if only 1/4 of the money stays over here, I doubt that you could even post a reliable source that states that. That's a quarter of the money to a hard worker who will use the majority of that money buying things he or she needs to survive. So that money will go back into the economy. The American cars money goes to mexicans, canadians, and the rich high ups in the company. The way I look at it, the Japanese are helping out the average worker, and the economy more.
@1993hondaaccord If you didn't own a Honda you wouldn't be saying that... No matter where the car is made most of the money still goes back to where ever the main headquarters is... Idc anyway I never have bought foreign cars and probably never will.
@MrIloveprettyboys At the end of the day, the imports are the new domestics, and the domestics are the new imports. Something made in America will help us more then something made in Canada and Mexico. It doesn't matter what I drive a fact is a fact. You can argue it all you want, perhaps one day you may open your eyes and see the truth.
@1993hondaaccord Argue what? I just said I don't care where it's made. I don't like Honda/Toyota and I never will. I don't care if it helps America or not... I like cars that actually sound like cars... not gay 4 cylinder trucks and ugly Honda's.
@MrIloveprettyboys I agree with you on the not liking ugly hondas. I have a prelude which is indeed one of the very nice looking hondas. However it is interesting to me that you have found a way to find out the sexual orientation of a car. Perhaps you should write a book on your findings, and to think all of these years I thought an inanimate object didn't have a sexual orientation.
@1993hondaaccord Ew that is an ugly Honda... I haven't seen a Honda that's worth looking at they all look plain and boring.... Nobody said anything about sexual orientation Heterosexual and Homosexual are the only two. Gay isn't a sexual orientation .....
@MrIloveprettyboys Gay is a derogatory term which is used to describe something that is a homosexual, therefore you are clearly hinting that a car can have a sexual orientation...
@MrIloveprettyboys I would really like to thank you for being concerned for my sexual preference, but I unfortunately I like women. If you like men however that's cool, after all it's different strokes for different folks.
@joe72907290 It's funny, my 2002 Tacoma was made in the Toyota factory in California... My Boss has a big Dodge truck, you know where that's made? M-E-X-I-C-O. The secretary of my office has a 2008 Chevy Aveo, I asked her why she bought it and she said "because I like American cars... I felt bad telling her that her CHEVY was made in KOREA. My uncle had a 1998 Suburban, major engine failure @ 57K miles... Made in MEXICO! Toyota may have started in Japan, but it's an American owned co. now.
@modestmoose83 you mean the plant that toyota closed down??..toyota still imports some of its vehicles ..and toyota use's mexican parts as well ..dodge being built in mexico does suck but they have standards to go by .never ask a women about cars they dont know any better .an american company can sell vehicles around the world still the profit comes home here..something toyota can not say
@modestmoose83 since when did toyota become american???..and who owns toyota other then toyota its self???..if toyota is so american as they like to claim then why did they turn their backs on us when 9/11 happened?..funny..the real american brands did not do this..in fact it was only the big 3 who helped and donated to anything 9/11 related ..the only foreign auto maker to help right then and there was vw ..toyota will always be japanese
@modestmoose83 The fact that a truck is made somewhere else has nothing to do with the quality. It all comes down to the engineers and the fact that Chevy puts really cheap things on their trucks to save money. Also most of the money still goes to japan when you buy their cars.
@MrRedskins0021 The fact that Chevy puts really cheap things on their vehicles goes back to the location it's made. Korea doesn't have the standards that we as Americans have. They also tend to make lower quality equipment, which is why American-made products are usually more expensive than imported products.
Sweet. I wish i would have known about youtube when i had my 94. It hit 300k, nothing but oil and filter changes. I sold it on 2008. The guy told me it was still running, but, i have no proof. Just my word. 86 i had hit 450 before i lost contact with him.
@desr2395 i could believe it. i have a 1997 version of this truck. I checked the back brakes at 150,000 miles and they were like new... wouldnt surprise me that they lasted 600,000.
@modestmoose83 because that is just way to many miles to be believable. unless this thing is a standard where all he has to do is down shift to slow down and not really rely on his brakes...but even then i would still only see it as plausible. and i also dont see how the drums would last 600k without rotting through
@wokeupthismorning100 we will never shut up ...i see alot more american vehicles with this or more miles on them ..and toyota cheerleaders think only a jap car can go the distance...bullshit...american cars have gone this far since the 1960's
theres a dodge 3500 cummins with like 1.7 million on it never rebuilt. it was used for towing which means its had some nice work. its still goin strong too btw
@WingsGiveFlight LOL! I used to be a messenger years ago and I travel all over socal perfoming magic on private parties, special events, celebrities, school events and corporate shows.
Where do you guys/gals who have such high miles on your trucks get them from? Work, Business, Pleasure? I mean there is guys/gals uploading videos of their cars/trucks turning 200, 300, 500 and even 600K on here. Whats the deal? I just saw a picture of a guy who turned 200K in a 3 year old truck......how does one get the time or money for that matter to do this?
@kutaswdupe Some people have long commutes or enjoy traveling. I usually put 50k on my car per year. Now I've never purchased a new car but my current 90 Mitsubishi Eclipse has 205k on it and I've had it 7 months. I purchased it with 185k. I just drive and drive because I enjoy it. From GA to OH 2 times a month or more and a 30mile commute each day to work.
Every time I have to get parts from the dealer, there all over me trying to get ther hands on my '96 2.7 with 225,000mi. I wouldnt sell to them for 10 grand.
it's not rigged... cars can actually go up that high if you maintain it properly. There is a honda accord on display in the honda dealership near my house that hit over 700,000 miles all original clutch
I live by Convina, and my 91 Toyota has a ton of rust and dirt I can't manage to clean off of it, maybe your buddy could help out, I'll give him a call. (it'd the AWD model, and the previous owner was a twit apparently)
I live by Convina, and my 91 Toyota has a ton of rust and dirt I can't manage to clean off of it, maybe your buddy could help out, I'll give him a call.
It's nice to see high mileage vehicles out on the road but i still haven't heard of a 3/4 million mile toyota, and somewhat disappointed. I know the 4 and 6 cyl. engines last a long time. But haven't heard of their 8 cyl. engines hitting high mileage yet.
as a toyota tech I have personally seen a tacoma with 475,000 miles on the original engine and tranny. and neither was ever rebuilt. i am also going for over 500,000 miles on my personal 1991 yota pickup. also original engine and tranny
@ecosby100 do they have more problems prone to new technology yes. but they haven't been out long enough for me to see any over a 150,000. But I have also not seen any major problems either that would keep me from getting one further down the road. most all I have done on most is transfer case engagement motor.
@magicmanrod true that i had a 96 tacoma single cab 2.4 liter. i sold it years ago with 225,000 it now has over 500,000. these trucks last for ever. the guy i sold it to stil drives an ice cream truck in my neighbor hood so i talk to him every now and then .
i bet this truck had all sorts of work done. i have yet to see someone prove toyota is the best. cus ive seen so many die its funny. ppl claim they go 1 miles my ass. the motors were swapped. and all kinds of crap.

98TacomaOwner 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner well to correctly answer your question ,,i can do it head on ..or i can give you the answer you are fishing for or are trying to insinuate that all fords are made in mexico and all toyota's are made here right?...first off ..not all toyota's are built in the US so trying to make it look like toyota is more american then ford ,,toyota still imports some of its vehicles...sorry i dont not have the exact figure's at my fingertips of those number's though , but if all toyotas cont>
390merc65 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner but if all toyota's were built there..the profit still go's to japan and even though toyota builds vehicles here , most of the american toyota workforce is made up of part timer's and temp worker's ,,and generally a full time employee makes less then if he or she worked full time at ford,GM or chrysler ..now the second question ..ford is global just like toyota so you must ask a more precise question on exactly were fords are built..ford makes many many different cont>
390merc65 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner ford makes many different cars all through out the world much like toyota..in fact ford has been global longer then toyota is even in business.ford makes a variety of vehicles for many different car markets around the world..if you are insinuating ford no longer builds vehicles in the US then that statement is totally false ,,ford still builds cars and trucks right here on US soil and a small % of fords are made in mexico and sold here ,ford has been in mexico long before cont>
390merc65 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner ford has been in mexico and south america for many decades ..long before you even knew anything about ford ..and you might not believe this but ford builds vehicles in mexico ,,and they stay in mexico for that car market .so trying to make it sound like ford left americans high and dry and ran to mexico for cheap labor is 100% totally wrong and incorrect ..ford has about 40 assembly plants world wide so your question is vague and incomplete ..but i hope that helped
390merc65 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner you are correct.i do not care for toyota brand vehicles at all ..but since you insinuated like toyota is built were and ford is built were as to imply toyota is all american ..let me ask you a question?..since when did toyota become american?now dont get having toyota assemble vehicles here [AS AMERICAN] .because there is a big difference ,and if you think toyota is so american like you might think and they claim.then why did they mot help this country at 9/11????
390merc65 1 month ago
@98TacomaOwner oh..and maybe you dont know this little fact about toyota..most toyota cheerleaders do not know this fact..or hate to admit it.but even their american assembled japanese car is built with products from mexico as well ....aint that ironic now????

@ktmrider53 i highly dought your japanese made car is 100% japanese parts ,,and if its a toyota it sure as hell aint 100% japanese ,,take a look around and see the parts toyota use's that are from around the world ,,they are the cheapest , penny pinching car company out there and love to pay a 14 year old kid $2.00 a week in some 3rd world country ,,and i will bet all japanese cars are not 100% that are made in japan ,,and being made in japan is nothing to brag about

@390merc65 You don't understand. I have a NISSAN. If you look at the vin number, it Has a "O" for being built in the USA. Then "J" for being built in Japan. Mostly every part in a car is designed to last forever. It's all up to the owner of the car. If you stay on top of things like oil, trans fluid, and your brakes. You won't have any problems with your car.

@1993hondaaccord You realize only 1/4 of that money stays in America right? The rest goes back to the main office in Japan or where ever. So he's really helping more than buying American right?
MrIloveprettyboys 4 months ago
@MrIloveprettyboys Even if only 1/4 of the money stays over here, I doubt that you could even post a reliable source that states that. That's a quarter of the money to a hard worker who will use the majority of that money buying things he or she needs to survive. So that money will go back into the economy. The American cars money goes to mexicans, canadians, and the rich high ups in the company. The way I look at it, the Japanese are helping out the average worker, and the economy more.
1993hondaaccord 4 months ago
@1993hondaaccord If you didn't own a Honda you wouldn't be saying that... No matter where the car is made most of the money still goes back to where ever the main headquarters is... Idc anyway I never have bought foreign cars and probably never will.
MrIloveprettyboys 4 months ago
@MrIloveprettyboys At the end of the day, the imports are the new domestics, and the domestics are the new imports. Something made in America will help us more then something made in Canada and Mexico. It doesn't matter what I drive a fact is a fact. You can argue it all you want, perhaps one day you may open your eyes and see the truth.
1993hondaaccord 4 months ago
@1993hondaaccord Argue what? I just said I don't care where it's made. I don't like Honda/Toyota and I never will. I don't care if it helps America or not... I like cars that actually sound like cars... not gay 4 cylinder trucks and ugly Honda's.
MrIloveprettyboys 4 months ago
@MrIloveprettyboys I agree with you on the not liking ugly hondas. I have a prelude which is indeed one of the very nice looking hondas. However it is interesting to me that you have found a way to find out the sexual orientation of a car. Perhaps you should write a book on your findings, and to think all of these years I thought an inanimate object didn't have a sexual orientation.
1993hondaaccord 4 months ago
@1993hondaaccord Ew that is an ugly Honda... I haven't seen a Honda that's worth looking at they all look plain and boring.... Nobody said anything about sexual orientation Heterosexual and Homosexual are the only two. Gay isn't a sexual orientation .....
MrIloveprettyboys 4 months ago
@MrIloveprettyboys Gay is a derogatory term which is used to describe something that is a homosexual, therefore you are clearly hinting that a car can have a sexual orientation...

Toyota may have started in Japan, but it's an American owned co. now.
modestmoose83 3 months ago 20
@modestmoose83 you mean the plant that toyota closed down??..toyota still imports some of its vehicles ..and toyota use's mexican parts as well ..dodge being built in mexico does suck but they have standards to go by .never ask a women about cars they dont know any better .an american company can sell vehicles around the world still the profit comes home here..something toyota can not say
390merc65 2 months ago
@modestmoose83 since when did toyota become american???..and who owns toyota other then toyota its self???..if toyota is so american as they like to claim then why did they turn their backs on us when 9/11 happened?..funny..the real american brands did not do this..in fact it was only the big 3 who helped and donated to anything 9/11 related ..the only foreign auto maker to help right then and there was vw ..toyota will always be japanese
390merc65 2 months ago
@modestmoose83 The fact that a truck is made somewhere else has nothing to do with the quality. It all comes down to the engineers and the fact that Chevy puts really cheap things on their trucks to save money. Also most of the money still goes to japan when you buy their cars.
MrRedskins0021 1 month ago
@MrRedskins0021 The fact that Chevy puts really cheap things on their vehicles goes back to the location it's made. Korea doesn't have the standards that we as Americans have. They also tend to make lower quality equipment, which is why American-made products are usually more expensive than imported products.

desr2395 7 months ago
@desr2395 i could believe it. i have a 1997 version of this truck. I checked the back brakes at 150,000 miles and they were like new... wouldnt surprise me that they lasted 600,000.
compumasta 5 months ago
@desr2395 If 99.99% of his miles were highway miles, I don't see why 600K on the stock brake pads would be so hard to believe.
modestmoose83 3 months ago
@modestmoose83 because that is just way to many miles to be believable. unless this thing is a standard where all he has to do is down shift to slow down and not really rely on his brakes...but even then i would still only see it as plausible. and i also dont see how the drums would last 600k without rotting through
