@MonkeyZandGunZ350Z this is a grinding issue with the syncro mostly 3rd and 5th. that is due to a fault tranny that was later upgraded by nissan. anything prior to 2004.5 you would have a CD008 tranny. the dealer should replace your tranny as it had a recall on it. upgraded tranny is CD009

@zcarver25 the original tranny CD008 has a bad synco problem even when stock. some dealerships are replacing them with the CD009 updated tranny. I purchased the new tranny and now my car is above 500rwhp and no problems what so ever. i also have a shop 350z thats putting over 700rwhp and completely stock tranny.

@iGaRaai90 depending on your horsepower goal. stock engine 10.3 compression your willing will be around 400rwhp. build and the right set of turbos and fuel system the sky is the limit
