oh shit 500 whole dollers omg!!!!! this is so dumb you look at every teens ipod i would guess majority of the songs on it would be "stolen" im not gonna buy the cd anyways or dvd so i really dont see where im hurting them. im not gona buy it either way would they prefer me to like their song and not pay or to not hear their song and not pay?
You have it completely backwards, the US already has all those ridiculous laws, and is pressuring Canada to adopt them. The RIAA is now going after people who put CDs on Ipods, they just have not yet drafted a provable case. Music downloading, as of this moment, is officially legal in Canada, I know because I live there, and it was all over the new when the decision was made
The copyright laws should be left as is. This is just the bloody movie and music industry not wanting to adopt to the times because a lot of rich men's bank accounts might stop growing as quickly as they have been. Why doesn't our government let off and help keep people's hands out of our pockets for a change? Do we not enjoy SOME sort of enjoyment, I'll tell you, it's bloody hard to come by these days without giving and arm and a leg for me.

Yet neo con Ryan Warawa, aka bcconservative on YouTube has no problem finding and enjoying videos on YouTube that violate copyright. Tsk tsk.

I don't want Canada would pass this BS copyright
law. Luckily, I live in the US that isn't
too far like as Canada. I feel bad for
Canadians.

I totally agree with you man.
They are even going to limit us when we PAY for their shit.
If we copy a dvd WE PAID FOR onto an iPod, PSP, or other medium, its a $20 000 fine.
We also arent allowed to change the SIM card in a phone, because then it stops the phone companies from making the big bucks off roaming charges!
I say they have enough money.
FUCK THEM!
