  • fiat 500 is way nicer for the same price.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM But much smaller and slower

  • I test drove this car on snow and ice covered roads. The advancetrac stability control works great on this car as do the antilock brakes. Was very impressive. This car will run cicles around my Kia Spectra

  • I really like this car, but I definitely think the cost is going to drive people away from it only because you can get a Honda Civic, or other sedans for about the same price. I honestly think that they should lower the price of hatchbacks just a tad so that they can compete better with those who want economy/practical cars for a good price.

  • If anyone can fill me in it would be great, but my coworker has this car, and she said its automatic but it shifts itself like a standard (basically, you hear the shifting like it was a standard) she she has to actually stop at a stop sign or it will sound weird when she slows down then speed up again (which is what shes use to doing) I'm plainning on buying one in January and i'm not a fan of standards, can anyone fill me in on that information? message my youtube homepage please

  • @alchemistofsins The Fiesta has a twin-clutch auto gearbox like a Audi. Just google duel clutch and that will explain how it woks. It's very cool and pretty crazy that they put such an expensive and advanced gearbox in a small car like the Fiesta.

  • esta bien feo el wey jaja

  • If you buy this car you have waivered all of your rights to complain about the economy. Buy american and support jops here.

  • This car will sell very well in Canada, especially the hatchback. I'm curious to see how it sells in America.

  • Which car would be perfect match for me a 2011 mazda2 or a 2011 Ford Fiesta hatch?

  • @ladyyuna2000 There isn't much buzz on the Mazda2 except that it's built on the same Global platform as the Fiesta. In terms of bang for buck, I don't think you can beat the Fiesta. The base trim has a lot of creature comforts like AC and stability control which is the equivalent of ABS a few years back when it was a premium. Conversely on the Mazda2, at least here in Canada, AC and stability control is an option and not available on the base as standard. I'm also keen on the knee airbags.

  • @supercooled -- as I said it,s mostly personal opinion but these little cars are a but too highly priced. The Ford has a bit more rear seat room -- both have lots of room in the front seat both are pretty anemic compared to cars that are only a few thousand more------ especially if you do any highway driving ----- both are fast compared to the Accent but slower than a Golf .All these little shopping carts they sell these days as cars are $20,000 out the door--- until the Chineese come in ???

  • @john21 trying to imitate the fit would be a step backward! The car has over 25 years of refinement. When they stopped selling it in the US ford continued in Europe! It has been one of the top cars there!

  • The fiesta is worth the wait! There is nothing on the market that compares

  • The Honda Fit put up a good run.

    I excited for this car!

  • I reserved one in January, waited until March before I could order one, well it's now five months, the "VIP" treatment with updates has been a joke. They told me it was built yesterday, but the dealer told me it was built weeks ago, May 21. Any goodwill they created is long ago gone, In January it was coming in"Spring". My good will in in negitive numbers! The Ford PR person Angie Kozleski lies!

  • They sure have tried to immitate the fit. I don't think it quiet can do that though. The fit is backed up by the decades of quality craftsmanship while ford has been disastrous and near bankrupt automaker with terrible reliability.

It doesn't help that the car is assembled in Mexico while the Fit in Japan.

The mexican made volkswagens have a lot of reliability issues.

  • @john21031 You raise a good point, but the Mexican-built Fusions have been extrodinarily reliable. "Much better than average" is the Fusion rating from CR on reliability.

  • I like it ! When is it expected to hit dealer lots?

  • The car is nice and I am glad they are bringing over more euro type cars; however, I think most cars these days are overpriced considering what we get. I think the Chinease should bring cars over and put them all out of buisiness.

  • As one of the Fiesta Movement Agents, I can't wait to hear how the handling of the US version compares to the European car. I have been driving the European one for a year, and have a US on on order. The car has exceeded every expectation of what a small car should be.

  • Awesome!! I can't wait for the driving impressions!

  • Less room than a Fit but better handling dynamics for sure

  • @Much sexier than a fit. If was back in MI I would be buying this as soon as it came out.

  • @romanmicagearguy not to mention fit looks very ugly.

  • @romanmicagearguy I dont think so i believe the fit puts up better handling numbers it did the car and driver lane change at 72.5 MPH :0 that is CRAZY FAST.

  • This will instantly kill the Honda Fit when it comes to America.

  • Cool lil car. :) Economy is the KEY for this car.
