@psymon2005 People don't like him because it's the thing to do these days. If you don't dislike travis, you're a noob, i guess. Always liked travis, not saying he's the second coming or anything, he's not technically brilliant or anything like that. But he does make creative beats and he sounds good. To me, that's far more important than pure technical skill and no ability to innovate.

@ronnysoeberg No, the reason serious musicians don't like him is because he is praised for mediocrity. The USA has become this 'everyone gets a trophy' society where people with little to no musical talent can become famous. Musical ignorance is what rockets people like Lil Wayne to the top of charts, when in reality he is no more than a zit on Mozart's ass. If someone is making millions of dollars for music, it should be shockingly complex and performed PERFECTLY every time (cough Metallica).

@horriehomepage I'm a musician (drummer/synths/programming) and as I said, I like him. I don't think he deserves the worship he gets from morons all around, and I agree with you in everything you wrote. However, the hating gets as old as the worshiping very fast. And I'd like to add, once more, the thing I like about him is his imaginative beats more than how he plays them. He's not a great drummer, but he is good at making up grooves that really suit the tune. That's pretty much all.
