probably records in AVCHD lite which is crap as it will not work with Final cut pro studio and Pinnacle studio Ultimate 12 HD if you are happy with windows movie maker !!!!!!! it will work, keep looking around guys this ones a looser.
Good video. I love my LX3 for the good recording in low light, photo + video. You leave the SLR at home, take it in a pocket and have got it with you for party, concerts, outdoor :-)
@sound: sorry, it has got no stereo, only one mic with mono sound. But for a small mic a good sound if its not too loud (concert).
that probably has more to do with your computer/browser and the general crappiness of Flash as a video player for HD. If I play this back on my Mac in Firefox it is choppy - in Safari 4 it is smooth. Flash needs to be improved and ironed out, big time. Also the video is 24 FPS, not 30 - that might add to the choppy look.
@billyposter It's jerky because the video processor on your computer is slow. I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and it handles the video perfectly. It took me a long time to figure that out.
Direct uploads straight from the camera ends up in just HQ at YouTube. I post process my movies in iMovie on a Mac but I think any conversion to mp4 etc. will do.
