Oh sure, they're bigots because they express their beliefs, but it's okay to pick on them like that, and promise that that's what actually happened? I'd bet you if someone did that to Jarett Barrios all hell would break loose and people would be complaining all day long, you people aren't listening to what they're trying to say, so maybe YOUR the bigots...
@robertsfunny1995 Okay first of all, you think I meant for people to take this seriously? Hell no. We obviously know that no old man would go on camera in a serious-toned commercial with a nametag saying "Hello my name is toolbag,". And I have "listened to what they had to say," a fajillion times, and each time one word played through my head. "Retards". That's what you people are. You discriminate innocent people and then encourage the rest of us to follow. Tsk Tsk.
@TbasketballG but you said you SWEAR, do you realize what that can mean? And we just want to be able to celebrate our religion, but if gayness becomes more accepted, people could become offended because it doesn't support it, I've even seen a news story of a man who wasn't even focusing on anti-gay, but he got in trouble for talking about his faith, and yes we would like for you people to follow but that's not going to happen because you all hate us, and this is another thing I'd like the point.
@TbasketballG Stupid limited characters... I'd like to point out that gay parents are more likely to raise gay children than straight parents, and since gays don't reproduce, then they would have to adopt, and the more it becomes accepted the more it will happen, so think of this, the more gay parents adopting, the more gay children spread, and eventually we could end up actually killing off the human race, may I ask on your argument on that?
@robertsfunny1995 First of all, it was a joke. I wasn't sure what to put in the description so I threw in a little joke, gosh. Second, no, you're wrong about the human race being wiped out because of gay marriage. That's the most utterly stupid and far fetched bull I've ever heard. Yes, it is possible that gays will adopt gay children, but since being gay isn't a choice (it is a genetic inheritance that can be inherited from family members, so if you adopt a child, it can't be inherited)...
@robertsfunny1995 Yeah, limited characters ugh. Anyways, as I was saying, since being gay isn't a choice, proven by scientists all throughout the country, if the child is already straight, then s/he would remain straight through puberty, adulthood, and so on and so forth. I have seen no studies anywhere yet that claim for homosexuality to be a choice. Not only that, but many of my friends(kind and respectful and straight)have gay parents, and I asked if they chose. They said of course not. Also,
@TbasketballG It is a choice. It may not be a right choice or even a good choice.....someone who has a gun to their head being forced to decide something.....that person may not feel like they have a choice but they do.
@robertsfunny1995 Answer this for me: why do you think anybody would choose to be gay if it meant taking such criticism from bigots like you? They could "choose" to be straight according to you, and be on their merry way. Also, even if we did narrow down to a few people left being straight, we could still forcibly produce. Some lesbians and gays might not want to, but would do it for mankind. We could still have children, regardless of weather or not we wanted to. Also,....
@TbasketballG Answer me this: why do murderers, pedophiles choose to be sick human beings even though they know they face worse than criticism? My point is not to say that homosexuals are like those kind of people. My point is merely my way of hopefully making you aware that people choices are not deterred by the opinions of people alone.
@robertsfunny1995 You might refer to the bible as a significant source of information, but it was written centuries ago! Back in the time when we thought the Earth was flat! Now that we have more reliable sources of information in labs and research facilities, we no longer have use for what in Texas will soon be called a "textbook". Oh, I'm not even done yet. The constitution is also meant to protect human rights, races, genders, backgrounds AND sexual orientation, too. To be continued...
@TbasketballG Please don't go tearing down the Bible, to validate people's choices. The Bible has stood the test of time, not because it is just some history book....it has stood the test of time because of the One who it represents. Jesus Christ is the Savior of this world, my friend. God bless. :)
@robertsfunny1995 yeah, as I was saying, the government cannot pick and choose who they want to grant freedom. Freedom of marriage, adoption, jobs, you name it. But since gays are not granted the freedom to marry or adopt in thin country, then they are defying the direct word of the founding fathers themselves. This is no free country if we can't even choose who we want to marry. That is all :).
@robertsfunny1995 Umm, you realize that gays still can reproduce, right? They just don't prefer to. If it were necessary to keep the species alive, they could do artificial insemination or even have straight sex. Purely for reproductive purposes, of course.
@technobecian That wouldn't quite be right though. The thing about sexual reproduction is two people coming together to sort of make a commitment to raising a child you know?
