Disney executives were the only ones who made the decision of which track should go to the album -and which not, without letting Bangalter and Homem-Christo (Daft Punk) get involved (as per Busy P, Daft Punk's ex-manager for 10 years, and a friend of them too)

I can't believe how stupid people can be. The executives at disney know what they're doing. They invest serious time and money into these projects. This song wasn't put into the album to conserve the homogeneity. An album isn't just 'a mash of the best possible songs,' an album tells a aural story. Although this song scintillating, it just simply wouldn't congeal with the rest of the material on the album.

I have listened to the whole R3C0NF1GUR3D album from start to finish, 3 - 4 times now and while there are some good cuts on there I still have to reach back further to the original material that was being remixed and say its a project that should never have been done unless by T-Bang aand Guy-Man themselves. Anxiously awaiting a REAL Daft Punk album not a movie score still.
