  • big girl!

  • Great video. More please, if anyone has, of Ida Rolf.

  • wasnt it true that ida was an osteopath before developing rolfing? im a chiropractor at the moment and although i work deeply i think my work should be DEEPER and include more soft tissue work, any rolfers out there want to comment? :-)

  • No, Ida was a Biochemist who worked for the Rockafeller institute in the 20's and wrote 27 papers on enzyme research. After leaving she developed an interest in alternative therapies: yoga for its effect of counteracting gravities forces and osteopathy triggered her ideas about working with the fascia to deal with gravities effects on the body.

  • 7.15 - thats such a sweet smile. very caring lady. think i might learn rolfing one day :-)

  • I love being an educator of Ida's method, and provoking and noticing the shifts in my own body along with my psyche.

  • Thank you. I have been a Rolfer for 10 years and this is the first time I see and hear Ida Rolf. She is incredible.

  • Thank you. Armando Macedo.

  • Rolfing helped me immensely to improve my posture and eliminate back pain when I went through the ten series about a decade ago. It it a very fascinating technique.

    Thanks for sharing this!

  • Thank you. Armando Macedo
