Sounds great man! A very nice first lens to get is the Canon 50mm 1.8f. I think it runs about $120 but you get amazing low light and great DOF shots with it. Good luck.
How did you get such an amazing quality? I have the T3i too and when I record my video and put it in my computer and use Windows Movie maker to edit it, then I save it in a ''High Definition File'' and when I upload it to YouTube the quality is not as good as this.
I wouldn't use Windows Movie Maker. I use Pinnacle Studio (12) and save my videos as Custom dvix HD (with the bit rate as high as possible. They render way faster than if I save them as WMV.
I like it bro! Great voice! And the T3i is worth it. I have the T2i which is great too, but the T3i having the LCD that moves, could take my videos up a notch. Thanks and keep up the good work!
you have a very very nice voice!!!the video doesn't have great framing tho.you have a great face not only the voice.the frame with the microphone in front of your face wasn't good at all.i couldn't see you clearly ,the camera was more filming the mike.anyway you should keep doing videos, maybe shoot a story because voice ...awww you have plenty!!!
As easy as this... if you want to check the camera quality for music videos look for Tyler Ward on YouTube, all his videos are recorded with a canon T3i.
@JoOrG23 whats cool about the dslrs is they have a large sensor which gives you a shallow field of depth making your target super sharp and the background out of focus to give a professional look to the video, try manually changing your aperture, a low aperture will focus in more on your target and less on the background
@BeLeeve unless you have multiple cameras, you don't. There is the footage with the live performance, and the other 2 or 3 takes to capture different angles have me just miming the words.
Dude this video is F****** sick. You have an awesome voice and good taste for music. I know the video quality is much higher but YouTube hasn't done a good job transcoding.
I've watched both of your videos for Nikon D5000 and this. I use a Nikon D5000 and I got it last year somewhere in June maybe. It's still new and now I find the video quality sorta crappy so what do I do? :s
I was trying to purchase a camera with some good features, 1 especially was the HD movie feature. Thank you, this was a big help to show me what kind of quality I could get. P.S. Nice song and video. Keep it up and I also make beats so reply back soon. Peace.
Sick video! I love my T3i too! What lens did you use for this?

I'm really enjoying your work. Everything looks very nice.
Could you tell me the Export settings, on Final Cut, that you use when uploading to youtube ? (eg: Compressor setting)
Keep up the good work ! I look forward to watching more of your films.

@iReviewDroid thanks so much! this was actually shot in a very low light setting, that's why the video is a bit grainy.

myiphonerocks3gS 11 months ago
@myiphonerocks3gS I use the onboard mic for the beginning in the introduction. For the cover I used a Sterling Audio tube mic
