can you please tell me where can i get one of these portarble lithium batteries please? i have a er1 too but i dont know how find it , maybe in ebay ? thanks
I was wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong with my ER1 MK2. I let it sit for a year and went to use it last week. When I go to use the sequencer and try to toggle the 1-16 buttons more than one will light up. (ie: if I hit 1 then 1,3,4 light up. If I hit 6 then 6,7,8,and 9 will light up.) Tried resetting to defaults. Took apart and saw no popped caps or burnt boards. Everything else works fine just that. Any Ideas anyone?
from the music you are making and where you stand(full nature) tells me that your an awesome man dude ! really appreciate what your doing ! really its awesome !
I had The EA1,ES1,EM1 and I still got the ER1. I have tried the EMX(1 months). What you can make with the 2 modules can Not be done with the EMX and vice versa.2 different worlds.Good or better is really up to you. But I'll suggest you to get an ESX1,for the simple reason that you can ALWAYS load new samples once you're tired of the old ones, while with the EMX you'll have to stick ALWAYS with the same sounds. Also You'll have 8 drum parts,2 k-board,2 stretch,1 slice,1 audio in
the mk2 has an fm-mode where the frequ. of two of the synth parts can modulate each other. forgot how korg calls that feature but thats the only difference.
i found a battery which delivers 3000mA (that's what the emx/esx requires) but delivers only 7.2 volts(the emx/esx requires 9 volts). do you think that that's enough??
I found many of these at a site, R/C Planet. So many batteries, but none of them quite right. I just can't afford to fry my ESX, which I use constantly for performance
yeh way cool...!!, i can allready do this with me microkorg. but with a lil tweaking i can sequence with me esx on the go as well....cool....yeh, the busking idea sounds sweet, just bring along a laptop with ableton to compliment
Is this possible for the emx????i wonder.. whats the voltage required for that. also polarity as im no where near mine at the mo but ultra mobile if possible.
emx is also 9 volt.... but i don't think it's a good idea to do that, because it's a very sensitive piece of hardware... i want it like this so badly, but i wouldn't dare...(i have also emx)
wAY better than the ielectribe .

Btw guys i dont think that a half or a bit more volts will damage the gear. Just the oscillators will sound strange or it will not turn off anyway :D

I'm also interested in a battery for my ESX.
That chunky, nonstandard power box is trouble. ;-)
note that it is 9V, 3000mA, compared with ES which is 9V, 500mA.
The milliamps matter!
I suspect it's more to supply power to the tubes.
