Blind Justice does not discriminate against ones religion, race, ecconomic status, etc or gender, but the Singapore government does just that. Examples of injustice against males. Male-Male sex is criminalized in Singapore, but not female-female sex. Only males are conscripted to NS-not females. Males are subjected to judicial torture-not females.

@butterflye2020 then what about other countries where such so-called "inhumane" acts exist? Eg. the practice of lethal injection in the US (no offence to any Americans, just an example). There have been cases where inmates die a slow, painful death. Does that seem humane to you by any way? Oh and by the way, the not all countries look at human rights the same way as organisations like Amnesty International. These views are plainly subjective. You cannot point to inumane actions, by Americans or anyone else, to try to defend or somehow justify the sadists of Singapore. Of course third world countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, and Singapore do not respect human rights. That is why we have international norms and standards and conventions against torture agreed to by the majority of United Nations members--Singapore violates this.

Singaporeans by their own hands have developed an ideal society, one that I hope we in India may emulate some day. If we want to see what sort of great society the hopes and dreams of the Asian continent can produce, even above Mumbai or Tokyo or Seoul or Hong Kong, look to Singapore. Malujah Singapura!
