  • you dont need to "cycle" off creatine. its not a drug, or a herb. if anything your wasting time and money loading on it again. after loading take off sundays with no creatine. everyone uses this "cycle" word lately, just getting tired of it.

  • @ma9ic11 actually to get best results you do need to cycle. if you knew anything about creatine you would know that after a while of usage your body becomes used to the creatine which can alter its performance. you cycle so that your body doesnt do this. so CYCLE

  • @fitnessisalifestyle do what you want, cycle if you wish. but its not needed at all. if your body is becoming "used to it" its because your not working hard enough and are depending on creatine. Its scientifically impossible for your body to get used to creatine. Creatine is a food (amino acid). Maybe for health reasons if you take 10+ grams a day its good to take a week off every 6 months. but cycling creatine every 6 weeks is waste and not needed at all. just my tip.

  • Creatine creatine in water, mate all that's going to do is help you piss it out, however you will see results from it but I find that it's better mixing with apple juice or simila, I'm no expert but I have found that mixing it with sugary beverage helps me out a lot, but hey, everyone's body reacts to different approaches different

  • @devillovesbible dude skip the weight gainers, they are full of chemicals. The best thing for skinny guys( actually any guy) is to take creatine, and start eating like a bear. Your better off eating real food than weight gainers. then add a protein shake. And your vitamins and Fish Oil. Dont waste your time with other shit. Creatine is good but must be used properly. No need to cycle either. stay on 5 months and take 1 month off or something. dont load either, just 5 grams a day

  • @devillovesbible get regular creatine monohydrate. whatever brand just make sure its german "creapure". people that dont know how to use creatine properly complain about bloating. Take 5 grams of creatine in boiled water each day (dont worry it wont ruin it, it will dissolve ALL of it). let it sit to get cool. then drink. Wait 10 minutes then either eat a nice big meal, or a a drink with atleast 50 grams carbs and/or sugar......

  • @devillovesbible Stay on creatine 1 year and eat good meals with protein. Eat carbs and sugar so that the insulin spike keeps your creatine in your muscles. If your skinny you want to gain weight so you dont care anyway. If you workout and continue like this you will gain muscle for sure. if you want, take 1 month off after 1 year from everything, creatine included and rest. then start the whole cycle again to gain more muscle and weight.

  • @bunnyfactor creatine is the most safest supplement. It takes 20 days for it to fully saturate your muscles...u said stay on 1 month get off 2? LOL nobody will see ANY benefit that way, and if they say they do they are mistaken probably like you. in pro sports like NBA, NFL these guys stay on it for the whole season, some stay on the whole year and take off like a month at the most. As i said before do as you wish, im only giving real advice :) no one will die taking 5 g a day LOL

  • @TheBriznat also it all depends what type of protein u take in post workout. A pure whey isolate or concentrate probably only 30-35g any more will not oxidize and assimilate into the muscle cells an will turn into fat. However if u use a protein blend like syntha 6 or Myofusion like me . It is a sustained release so ur body can absorb all the protein if it was say 45-50g .

Post workout ur body needs the extra protein and bcaa to kick start the anabolic process. 30g may be enough for some but 50g may be more suited for someone say weighing over 200lb

  • Mate. Really good vid. Just a suggestion. Post workout eat the banana straight away to spike insulin levels then about 3 min later take ur creatine because it clings onto the carbs and is pumped better into the muscles. And recently people have found that the creatine is used better if you actually hold off ur protein for around 25 min after u have taken it . Don't know if it actually does tho.

The theory is that there's needed maximum 2g per kg of bodyweight (I can't think in lbs, oz and other obsolete -imo- unit systems). Two shake servings have about 50g of protein. 1kg of chicken breast has 300g protein. If you have 2 shakes/day + 1/2kg of meat your intake will be around 200g. Enough for a 100kg person (220lbs for the nonsensical system). By the way,how come you use lbs and grams,but no kg?

  • @BlackGetsuga100 yes you can! it causes severe dehydration and neusia. You do what is called a "loading phase" for 1 week which you take 20grams a day, then for the following weeks you take a "maintenance phase" of creatine which is 5grams a day.

    DONT NOT TAKE THE LOADING PHASE FOR MORE THAN A WEEK! and drink plenty of water every day!

I have noticed a significant increase in my creatine levels on my blood work taking it that way. I take it pretty much the same way he does except I skip the crap loaded cookie batter whey and use some vanilla flavored grass-fed whey( Swansons carries it or True Whey from Source Naturals) and blend it with coconut milk and frozen avocados with a little bit of stevia.

    Milk does taste better but it also slows down the absorption of the whey protein. For PWO water is ideal for quick absorption. I always just eat a banana and drink whey & creatine mixed with water just like the dude in the video does it.

  • There is no point of taking whey protein post workout, if anything you would need hydrolyzed protein, eaa, or bcaa

  • @Farve4ever589 what are you talking about?? you are not going to do anything with just amino acids. your muscles need protein to repair the ripped tissue. and whey protein is still a good protein and will be absorbed quickly. not as fast as hydro whey but still pretty fast. and fyi there are bcaas in this protein

  • @fitnessisalifestyle You would need free form bcaa. Leucine is the anabolic driver so you can even supplement with that, its all you need. Whey protein also takes around 4-5 hours to digest. free form amino acids are absorbed almost instantly as they don't need to be digested. I agree you do need sufficient protein to become anabolic again but why not supplement with the anabolic driver leucine or bcaa? Bcaa would take you out of catabolism instantly but whey protein will take 4 hours.
