I wish GW can reorganise all the races into a few factions like "order", "disorder", tyranids & necrons ... or something similar. like the alliances in 1st ed.
Now it's just complicated and depressing. ( 9+ factions going at everyone else's throats ! )
When humans and Eldar shoot each other on sight, it's not "grim dark", it's dumb, especially with the constant Necron, Chaos & nid threats all around :/

with genestealers, provided the stealers weren't already allied with Chaos.
That was before genestealers were retconned into a permanent part of the tyranids.
