Yes DyingAliveLast this is the original. Quarantine is an almost shot for shot remake. Seems US film companies don't trust Americans to watch foreign language stuff. This is terrific tho. Also watch The Orphanage or El Orfanato. Wonderfully creepy.

THIS is how you do a teaser trailer. They filmed this specially as a trailer rather than take a few seconds worth of audio and footage from the movie. This made me want to see this movie again. 'The Dark Knight Rises' teaser trailer made me want to... *YAWN*

REC is superior to Quarantine. It is hard to compare the two anyway since the sequals took the franchases in different directions after the first.
