As an example that I use in colleges and universities as to how "fairness" is often not prevalent in the material realm, I note the difference between an amazingly prolific and genius band like The Dan who has only sold in total 30 million albums world wide while Britney Spears does nearly that with one album. Thus, my example takes hold.

Steely Dan on the 1974 tour that supported the Pretzel Logic album. The last old school tour of the Dan. He appeared on this album and the next, Katy Lied, before moving on to the Doobies with ex-Dan virtuoso, Skunk Baxter.

@dogofman Yeah, I know... I've been a professional jazz pianist and composer for 45 years... I used that categorization as a loose identifyer, because so many people can't quantify what the Dan does. Truth to tell, one can't characterize what these guys do. My friend, Jim Keltner, has intersting stories of the original session for Aja.

Love the band. Love Fagan. Love the tune. Saw this tour in Nashville. One of the best live shows of my life.

But sorry, Fagan is out of tune on this performance and appears to be having vocal problems and the overall beat seems to drag. Anyone can have a bad night. Someone just decided to post this one.
