Don't forget to take into context that with Next-Dash his Wings of Light are pretty much negated. When I fight in local Arcades, when someone uses Destiny's WoL I pretty much dodge them.

if you press ↓ + △, you can use the beam shield, but you hardly ever gonna use it. it's better to dodge and counter-attack them

exia could've won if it used trans-am, but it has a limit and the gundam would move slower, letting destiny to kill setsuna, but 00 raiser is a different story.

well, 00 raiser is quite strong. that move 00 turns itself into GN particles... destiny cant stand a chance against that move.

@bigboss2788 that "conventional propulsion" or Nuclear Reactor as it's really called allows the Destiny to have wings of light for an unlimited amount of time(check seed destiny special edition, it's confirmed) , so the entire match it can outrun the exia, especially since trans am uses all the gn particles in the drive, so it can only be used for a limited amount of time, which in the show is pretty short and as it loses all those particles, it goes at a slower capactity. Point Proven.
