my boyfriend's dad physically abuses him really badly. i've tried so many times to get him to go to the police, but no matter what i say, he won't.

before i knew about what his dad did to him, i always said "if someone i know is getting abused, i'm gonna go to the cops about it."

i guess when you're put into the situation and it's happening to someone you love, it's different.

I know because I was always scared to go to my school teacher because I was getting physacally and sexually abused thrue 1st grade till 4th grade when I finally told my teacher what was going on. then my mom did not believe me but I did it and he was aresseted and put on trial.

To the people arguing over the best course of action in abusive situations: From the person on the receiving end of the slap, I don't want them locked up. They are good parents to my sisters. I simply want to be taken out of the home. If nothing else, only 3 more years and I'm legally free.
