@Tommodudey Thanks for the compliment. The kit in this vid is Catalina Birtch. I like this set a lot. I think the Fusion is a cross between Maple and Birtch. Gretsch is a great company and I don't think you can go wrong with any of their kits. It just boils down to what you like to hear and feel.

I actually played the song in real time on all instruments (many takes for each part) and took what looked best. Here's a tip. Practice in front of a mirror, and work on your visual performance. Love the drum fills you did, but otherwise as for the rest of the drum parts they we're dull, I just feel they could of used some spicing up, but great job none the less. I felt the keyboard solo was out of place and didn't belong, it was good just not the right moment. The guitar solo was good but it repeated and unless you have a really good guitar solo (like amazing) you usually try not to repeat. The bass was good, it kept the beat while playing some nice licks behind everything, did its job

Nice Idea though for the video. You could also try to edit the footage in a way that it looks like there are 4 people in the room. Its a lot more work, but there should be a lot room for visual trickery here.

Thanks for all of the flattering comments. This video represents 8 weeks of audio recording and 12 weeks of video work. When I first thought of doing Highway Star, I'd just laugh cause the two leads are so insane. But, I guess practice does make perfect. Plus, I got lucky on a few takes.
