  • What's the name of the opening song?

  • Ahhhh! they took the freakin' sound off!!! Damn it YouTube and your copyright crap! I was just thinking about this masterpiece of a dance yesterday and couldn't wait to see it and now, now I have to watch it in silence! I am heartbroken!

  • @Oria339

Thanks, lol - they put the sound back up :)

  • is there other names of the song??

  • Wonderful, love it....fun song transition

  • i like it!!

  • Great dance! and I LOVE your outfit. Where did you get the skirt pieces, belt and veil?

  • I thought it was great! The first song is so haunting, a working woman who just does the same thing day in and day out, and then the second song, a woman free of those daily restraints!! GREAT PERFORMANCE!

  • Thanks for getting it =)

  • Your dancing was beautiful, fluid and entertaining but I can't find the connection with the Peter Gabriel (I love his work too). No real loss though, due to your excellent execution..

  • Btw, not to say I don't "see" the connection in your dance to the song; hence well done Lady M..

  • Beyond lovely! I want so badly to belly dance, and I hope I become as good as you!

  • This was so very lovely, in all ways!

  • I never get tired of watching this one, you have such amazing musicality and grace. :)

  • The song and dance was amazing!!! ah i love it all!!!

  • be proud of this dance! you deserve it! lilililililiyiip!

  • oh ym god, i love the emotion you put into ur moves!

  • Neat fusion piece. The second part was so much fun to watch....not particularly tribal in dance for most of it, but completely joyous!! Thanks for posting this!

  • I loved the first part, didn't feel the second one though.

  • What is the name of the first song? And who does it? Thank you, it was a great pleasure watching you dance.

  • I love your dress.

  • So amazing, you take the ancient art and make it look as refined as a ballet with great music.

Thanks to this post I will take up belly dancing again. Thank You!

  • The grace you bring to your dance is so special. Given there are thousands of beautiful dancers.....but your arms and hands remind me of some enchanting hula teachers I grew up with. The lightness in your turns and the brightness in your face brings something back to bellydance that seems to missing from so many great performers today. You really REALLY raq!

  • Exquisite! What was the opening song you danced to? Haunting and beautiful. I love your style; hopefully with practice I can get as fluid as you! Brightest blessings, sister!

  • I have watched a heck of a lot of dance on this site and I have to tell you that you are my favorite dancer.

I love the joy you have and the light heartedness of the music. I am a fan of many Tribal style dancers...Rachel Brice of course, as well as others. But I think there is a certain free spirited ease in your dance. I absolutely love it.

A beginning dancer myself...you are my inspiration!

  • I second that.

  • beautiful! I love it. You are such an inspiration.

  • FANTASTIC¡ as always. you have something special. I´d like to learn to move like you, and I try by wachting your videos, but it´s too hard.

  • LOVELY! I do love Peter G but wouldn't have probably chosen the song for the dance. You made it work. In my next life I want my tummy to look like yours!

  • what a beautiful expression of joy...just lovely :)

  • Your song choice is the BEST - I adore Peter Gabriel.

    You're a wonderful dancer, I must say =)

  • Bravo. what a beautiful routine, costume, and your are a beautiful dancer. this makes me so guilty i have been so out of touch with belly dancing

  • Thank you dahlin... don't feel guilty, there is no time like the present. BeLLy Dance!! =)

  • That was lovely! And your costume is just gorgeous, too.

  • this performance is a real joy to watch!

  • the first part felt like i went back through time..I love your performance..Very talented..

  • who was first?

  • This aborable dancer, Viridianna (So CA). She did this belly dance/hip hop fusion that was a lot of fun. It's a great competition. There are so many talented performers. If you are ever in the area, you should check it out. Peace & laLoVe

  • Like an angel!

  • great song, and wonderful dance. Loved it. leleleleeyip
