yeh david was rather calamity at times, suzuka 1999 he spun off on the run up to spoon curve where nobody ever spins off and handed ferrari the constructors title

Yeah that was deliberately!He was never put in a position to fight for the World Championship!His only chance to win the title was in 2001 when he was overpowered by Schumacher in the second half of the Championship(look at the statistics and you'll see that I'm right)

They are actually really good friends, and hakkinen was very pleased for coulthard whenever he won a race and im sure the same can be said vice versa.

The problem was that hakkinen in fact was a better driver, in 2000 coulthard had a chance to be involved in the title hunt but faded midseason when hakkinen reeled in schumacher.

There was no faviroutism in my opinion, at the beginning of 98, coulthard had just as good a chance as mika

DC's best chance was '99. That slippery moment at the Nurburgring ended it all.
