i played street fighter IV on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and i have to say that it was more difficult pulling of special moves with the xbox 360 controller. It wasn't impossible, but it becomes a real pain. Especially with charge characters like bison, balrog, and vega.

I've own several systems and it is frustrated to use the 360 controller in fighting games. Games like Soul Calibur and DOA4 and the more recently the new Street fighter where I lost so many online battles because I couldn't execute a move properly due the controller. Never thought about changing my game pad like I did with my Genesis but thanks for putting the idea into my head. It may be even harder to do stuff when the new Tekken comes out. I agree its not impossible but it could be better.

Personally I've never had any break on me or my many friends that own them, but if there is significant proof I'd like to see a reliable source stating so. My friends broken many a 360 controller due to anger issues though..I just searched it, and honestly could not find much on the issue. The only 'diffifcult' thing about a 360 control pad is the first time you use it (connect it to console) and that isn't hard to do. when you look at both control pads they are set up almost the same way and work almost the same way. whats so difficult about the 360? I don't play the 30 as much as I play my Wii, but my brother has a 360 controller that was bought from GameStop, or Blockbuster, I don't remember, and the D-Pad is just like "the real d-pad." It was actually a lot easier to play Republic Commando with it than the standard 360 d-pad. RC is backwards compatible btw.
