  • You mentioned flax seed is a vegetable based omega 3. Flax seed is actually not even a food... it is a textile that has been trying to get GRAS (generally regarded as safe) status in the US for 40 years. 28 countries have banned flax seed including France. Flax seed depletes you of vitamin B3 and hurts your thyroid..

  • Omega 3 helps in ALL inflammation. Muscle, heart, digestive system etc. Also, I find that my high levels of Omega 3 intake improves my cardio performances everyday. My muscles also seem to repair faster and I feel very energized. I take in around 4,000mg of Omega 3 everyday...salmon, flax, sardines (no salt or oil added) canned tuna, walnuts and olive oil! I weight lift 6 days a week, and jog everyday foe 20-30 min at a time. My doctor said I am in better shape then folks half my age!!!! Thank

    The body likes balance. Therefore, not getting enough omega 3 is the same to the body as getting too much omega 6. Generally, the body can not cope as well with inflammation if you don't get enough omega 3's.

    2:1 or sometimes 3:1 are the accepted optimum ratios for omega 6 to omega 3. With the abundance of omega 6's in the North American diet, the ratio can get out of balance and get up to 20:1. This is not good.

  • I take 500-1000mg Omega-3 (DHA) a day, 300+mg of Bacopa (brahmi), Multivitamin, and tea/coffee. Best combo ever. It seems that Bacopa potentiates and/or prolongs caffeines effect...love it..

  • The benefits of Omega 3 on the body are mind boggling. I've never heard of Life Max ( I take Neurovi,com's Omega 3, great research page there too). It's proven to help with everything from depression to pregnancy and Alzheimer's. I would love to see a national campaign to inform people on the importance of DHA, Omega 3 in our diets!
