Here's a suggestion, take one of the fossils of the species listed above, go to your local university library, and kindly ask the librarian for books or peer reviewed scientific papers about said species. That might help you better understand the evidence as to why they are regarded transitional. But as evidenced by your belligerent comments...

@andythefork: If you are ever going to get anywhere beyond the genetic/fossil evidence, you eventually have to assume the evidence is overwhelming, the the audience accepts it and then you can go on to look at consequences. It is evidenced in a plethora of other vids, research papers and screeds. Just ask, and we can supply details.

@puncheex The problem is there's no evidence of common ancestry. The fossil record, which is quite extensive now, only shows two kinds of fauna - creatures that are still around and largely unchanged, and creatures that have gone extinct. There are no transitional species and no studied evolutionist will claim otherwise. Every heralded "missing link" has later been proven falsified or misidentified.

@andythefork: Andy, that is just plain wrong. There is no "two kinds of fauna"; the fossils show continuous change in the past right down to the extant animals (and plants) living today. Today we have dogs and bears; in the past we find intermediates between the two, such that it becomes impossible to classify a specimen as one or the other. The same thing goes for cats and hyenas, and back farther between cat/hyenas and dog/bears. Whales show a continuum from land animal to today's sea life.

@ChristConquers your statement indicates 2 things, 1) you're not familiar with the definitions that scientists use, and 2) your mind is made up already. So providing you with anything would be an exercise in futility. The scientific data is there for the taking, you could start by reading it, If you have an alternative theory, you are welcome to try to prove it, but remember, falsifying one theory does not automatically "prove" another.

What does mythology have to do with this video? The video simple presents the empirical facts of what humanity has observed and is known to be true. While all the different creation stories by hundreds of religions make for wonderful reading, like most fairy tales they have no basis in the real world. Science has saved more people in the world from starvation than jesus has.

The Earth wasn't "made". It formed. Matter was already existing before the Earth formed, so "Matter can't make matter" isn't an argument against the formation of the Earth. The first law of thermodynamics doesn't say what you claim it says. Neither does the second.

Scientifically, you can't go right with the Bible. The things it claims about the universe are demonstrably false.

ok, I watched the whole thing...it claims that for each branch of a descent tree, two species evolved from that single species...how is this possible? wouldn't the more advanced species kill off the more primitive and thus kill the tree? once humans were created, why didn't they kill off the less advanced and thus kill off any possibilty for apes to be created? It doesn't make any sense to me and some point then humans had to have co-existed with this more primitive version of humans

I've got a Masters and a first class degree. I often wonder if we know 50%, 5% or 0......5% of what there is to know. This video is great - and I'm glad it avoids religious debate. I think it fails on the presumtions that the evedence it presents fits both 'scientific' and religious agendas.
