  • Superman went hard in this episode.!

  • this shows that even the most cold-hearted WW2 dictator can change.. you just have to wait 10 000 years or so.. lol

  • Wonderwoman "Superman!" , superman says"No! not until i shave my beard, until then i am BADASSMAN!"

  • Ray Palmer = Atom :D

  • Living alone in a world YOU destroyed. That's one hell of a... Hell. And even suicide is no option. One of the great fears immortals face is loneliness. I know, even I fear that.

  • If you're going into a hive of giant cock-roach monsters...why wouldn't you bring bigger guns?

  • Savage wants to be sure it's dead LOL @ 4:34

  • LOL @ 4:34

  • Superman was a total Dick To Lobo

  • he killed your friens and ur sharing a meal with him?!?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING SUPS!? this is why ur soft

  • orion was at the funeral, nice! I love how captain america in the comics did the same thing! Instead of dying he got sent to the past for no reason!

  • Superman: What now?

    Savage: ..........Lunch :)

  • Is it me or did savage spend a lot of time in minecraft?

  • He's delightfully mad, you see.

  • one of the saddest episode ever, an immortal dictator finally learn the error in his ways, redeem it and finally move on

  • @godofwarrocksman I know,although I;m sure the self help books worked,too.

  • Would be hilarious if he was warped back to 0BC and was called Jesus

  • Moral of this story is, Without batman the hole human race dies

  • LOL Ray Palmer, Savage was gonna steal from the Atom

  • I think the worst part is, Savage is wearing the same uniform he was wearing back in WOrld War II... And its still clean

  • @Wolf6120 When Superman showed up, during the weeks it took him to get there, Savage probably made the replica so that Superman would recognize him on sight.

  • @TimThomason

Vandal: Superman is going to show up soon *first thing that pops into his head* ILL GO SOW MYSELF A NEW UNIFORM, THATLL MAKE HIM HAPPY"

Now that you mention it, Hed have to grow his own cotton too

  • So let me get this straight, Batman DOESNT notice deadshot's missile, nor hear it approaching? Seriously? HE'S BATMAN, HE HAS FASTER REFLEXES THAN THE NORMAL HUMAN AND HE DOESNT NOTICE THIS? GODDAMNIT D.C.

  • Comment removed

  • @trivaltrek Of Course he noticed it. But he also noticed Superman too, so he knew he didn't have to do anything :D

  • Savage had another solution - If he could clone anyone, he could send the clone back in time to prevent the end of the world since he couldn't send himself.

Then again, 30,000 years tends to degrade genetic material of sentient life

  • As if a rocket to the face could kill Batman.

  • this is my favourite episode, Savage FTW

  • @Christopher3772 Never thought of it like that

  • Tell me not those roaches look like Armaggedemon

  • @G2teA2teB2 it looks like from Starship troopers to me

  • Damn Right BATMAN!!! U DA BEST!

  • Ray Palmer, The Atom.

  • How the heck can this remember what he did 30,000 years in the past? that's some memory

  • @anthony15926 You really think anyone would forgot what caused the world to end up as that hellhole?

  • @anthony15926 Something as major as destroying the world? You probably wouldn't forget that! :P

  • And a worthless pistol at that, looked like it tickled the things.

  • Vandal Savage: Thank you my friend

    "Disappears"

    "Reappears in Jail"

    Vandal Savage: Damn't!

  • @KublayKahn i still laugh everytime i read it

  • @KublayKahn thanks i was beginning to think it was lex

  • So I'm guessing the moral of this episode is, "Lusting for power and immortality will leave you with nothing"

  • @Netherwolf6100 ...or "with everything but no one to share it with"

  • Well talk about "time heals".

  • Wow he so casual. Nothing like talking about your problems with a guest.

  • superman needs to keep the beard

  • Man, those roaches f*cked up those dragonflies.

  • There's only 2 people left on earth...and superman's sleeping on a couch still

  • This video made me cry in the end. I don't know, I thought this episode was so beautiful for some reason, maybe because I'm a big fan of philisophical questioning of time travel. I don't believe in time travel though, because time isn't a source of matter. Remember when Batman said nothing is ever destroyed, only changed. Time would have to be a physical property in order to change it. Everything that we touch is matter, even air, for those who don't think air is physical. You can't touch time.

  • @Christopher3772 hahaha fagcryingnerd

  • So Savage never thought of sending a robot into the past?

  • @roly1991 It probably didn't send inorganic matter, excluding Superman's clothes, because he was wearing alien wolf hide. I'm just assuming that the same properties from Terminator apply. And I don't think Savage had synthetic flesh to work with either. He probably has a reason, just never explained it. Oh! That and the roaches took his battery. I'm pretty sure that after at least 1000 years, he thought the same thing you did haha.

  • @roly1991 Plotholes, apparently harder to discover than build time machines...

  • Zero Point Generator? That anything like a Zero Point Module? Don't know who is refrences who there (if anyone is). :)

  • @LibraGamesUnlimited Stargate :)

  • @ghettoprince187 They where refrences "Stargate SG-1" or the other way around?

  • This episode > Superman at earth's end.

Still, despite the comic being horrible, one thing's terribly correct: SUPERMAN IS A MAN! *punch*

  • Hawk Girl: How can you be alive?!

Superman: Toy-Man sent me to the future and then me and Vandal Savage fought some giant Cockroaches!

Batman: Yes, yes, I suspected that all along.

  • Superman looks like Jesus....Oh $#*! SUPERMAN IS DC's JESUS CHRIST!!!!

  • Immortality would be the worst torture you could be submitted to.

  • @HectorL360

    In the long term anyway.

  • it would have been cool and kinda poetic if they still showed the S statue in the end because he's still dead. Oh! and with all the other symbols of the whole Justice League, too.

  • they needed RIICOOOOO!

  • ummm superman... he just told you that "it wouldn't work" which to me means you get a free pass to beat him with a rock. why not then? best believe i would of haha

  • this episode is just awesome and ridiculous at the same time hahah

  • hw de hell roaches turn so big n retarded

  • Comment removed

  • @paulborri Because he never looked. He said he gave up on the ship a long time ago.

  • I wonder what Superman is eating at 0:54 before munching into the bread.

  • @GunsolKyle irradiated cheese

  • First of all, good shoutout to Ray Palmer ( The Atom and one of the World's smartest people )

Second, No Savage did not die. He IS immortal but that version of Savage ceased to exist because of the time travel.

  • Did they kill Savage?!

  • rip vandal savage

  • Why doesn't Superman have his powers in the future?

  • @DeathDealer1997 Because in the future, Earth has a Red Sun. Red Sun radiation disrupts his powers. Technically, Superman doesn't HAVE super powers. Kryptonians, the race he belongs to, all just GET those powers when they're not around red sun radiation.

  • @Volts48 makes sense theres theories u can't have to versions of urself exist at time same time. It might rip a hole in the space time continum

  • When flash was rubbing his eyes I thought he was covering his nose from the smell of superman

  • Batman being Batman

  • "What now?" "Lunch?" So funny!!

  • batman at 8:06 emotions are for saps

  • lets see had a thousand years to build stuff and your best weapon is a pistol? no power armor, tanks. robots?

  • @jj125 He also has whatever he used to kill the justice league

  • @jj125 Superman and Liberty Prime team up anyone?

  • @jj125 Those things are only really needed against other humans, and only when you are afraid to die. He doesn't have to worry about humans and he is immortal.

That's what I like about the concept of immortality, many things we consider common sense as mortal human beings stop having meaning once death isn't part of the equation. When 100 years are no different from a single day, and 10000 years aren't but another month.

  • @jj125 It reminds of this one video game, where an immortal character fights monsters and mines entire mountains of resources to build massive monuments, fortresses, and even cities.

And yet the best weapon they can think of is a pick-axe, a sword, and a bow.

  • @nairda55555 MineCraft

  • @jj125 lust for power is a bad thing remember, plus he's immortal!

  • @jj125 The guy's immortal and regenerates from anything and everything. Kinda pointless to protect yourself when you yourself can't die. Give him another 50,000 years bet he goes crazy and decides to blow up and destroy the universe

  • @jj125 laser pistol :P

  • @jj125 world destruction dumbass

  • @jj125 he was too busy in his garden

  • @jj125

I am sure he just wanted a challenge

  • @jj125 If you are immortal and completely alone. Do you think you'd need a weapon? Robots? Don't forget in here he's supposed to be repenting. What's the point of an army or mass destruction weapons.

  • @jj125 thats a pistol with unlimited ammo i think thats quite impressive in itself

  • @jj125 I guess he likes building lamps and bookcases more

  • @jmaxed

No Ra's dies, he gets weaker every time he uses the pit. Eventually the pit can only restore him for mere days.

  • @vadersdemise93 he right a batman beyond episode kinda touch on that fact if i remember correctly

  • wait wait wait they fucking killed him????

  • I'm pretty sure Vandel Savage isn't the only immortal in the DC Universe not sure who other the Ra's al Ghul but he uses a Lazorous pit were Vandel doesn't

  • lol wtf? 2:20 Did supes call Savage "Mr Wizard" cause supes doesnt understand Science? lolz xP

  • 3:27 bitch you're immortal, why are you flinching?

  • @AllenGray47 Perhaps it's immortal in aging, not internal organ damaging...

  • @Esonver yeah, but he had said superman smashing his head with a rock wouldn't do anything

  • @AllenGray47 I think "Wouldn't do anything" means not making the situation better.

  • @Esonver good point

  • @Esonver He's been crushed by the collapse of a building and came out fine. He's kind of like the immortals from Highlander except the whole decapitation thing doesn't kill him either.

  • @Bangoo21 and he's got a all the regeneration, wolverine, claire bennet, immortap pre-goddess callisto, and the like ever had and then some. I guess no cloning tools or stuff to make them survived his maniacal attenmpt at world conquest turned cosmic catastrophe. Honestly, he's still human, if he could choose not to leave Earth via starship, out of self punishment, it shows the old sayings "Even the worst of us still have some good" or even the worst people can change in this case.

  • Thank you my friend...wait..this hurts...A LOT...OH GOD IT HURTS, BEING WIPED FROM SPACE AND TIME HURTS...AAAAAAAARRRRGHHH!!!

  • CHUCK NORRIS!!!!

    Oh wait it's just Superman.

  • at 9:20 - even in the future, men have to deal with balding...

  • superman : what now !!!

    guy : lunch ?

  • "WE DIDN'T ASK YOU THIS TIME!"

  • Comment removed

  • And in the end, Earth became Krypton?

  • What the hell did he do for...um...???? Superman isn't kinda looking good to him right about now...? LOL!

  • Okay...so WHERE does he get ELECTRICITY from?!?!? There are no dams....

  • I wonder if Savage looked at old playboys when he was alone.

  • so thats why the justice league lost in the first place thousand of years ago it was because deathshot took out Batman

  • @EmoRebecca18 dude its deadshot. get it right

  • @EmoRebecca18 nah, batman would've neo-dodged the rocket anyway

  • I still say those are not roaches. They're SUVs

  • LOL. superman: savage! savage! wake up!

    savage: what! what is it!

superman: you got a time machine!

    savage:....--_--.

  • 7:20 Its HOBO-MAN!!

  • This is what cockroaches evolve into?

This is why we must get rid of them here and now!

  • @TheChaoticassasin not just roaches; superman also had to fight off the mutalisks and zerglings!

  • Timmverse:

Allways teaching the kids stuff :)

  • One of the best episodes ever.

  • anyone know the song plsying in 0:50

  • @ChopperBrain Or his powers rises to Pre-crises levels...

  • 1:51 randall thinks " oh yeh! after 30,000 years finally some action! "

  • I wonder why they didn't try to get to the Fortress of Solitude. There's plenty of high tech stuff there that could have helped.

  • @KingOfMadCows Maybe it melted or something. With the whole change of orbit and suns and what not.

  • Lol, G damn roaches stealing my Zero point generator...*mumble mumble*. Nature you be gettin scary. 2:54

  • superman looks like an arab. lol

  • That was awesome! ...also if he's had that much time why hasn't he invented a better weapon! Mortal supermans sword cut through those cockroaches hides easier than that gun did!

  • @crazyfool333

Gotta remember, Vandal's immortal. He only needs to kill them eventually.

  • Batman wold have had a weapon detecting alarm programed in his utility belt, psshhhh.

  • AH That's why Vandal Savage was able to win and destroy the world. Batman, in his reality, died from Deadshot. I mean, if Batman was there he would've stopped Savage... easy.

  • @DPikachuZX

Doubt it. I bet he'd die of old age.

  • I really wish he'd of kept the beard.

  • Rule #4: Double tap

  • Savage was right; the world does belong to the roaches. Those things are monstrously huge.

  • This evil genius is beast, he built a whole fricking sanctuary

  • It took savage bout a couple thousand yrs to get it together. I wonder is it gonna take the rest of us that long as well. lol

  • Undoubtedly, this is the best episode. This episode also taught u something: Enlightenment and Peace :)

  • @kelvinickable And tried sooo incredibly hard to make superman avoid killing those dogs earlier in the episode, lol. Still, good lessons.

  • @kelvinickable You got that right, this is definitely the best JL episode. I just wish Superman kept his new savage look, he looks ace.

  • Savage was a great person in this episode. I felt so depressed when I hear he was alone for a millennium. It's just so heart felt at the end when he thanked supes. Best episode ever :) :(

  • @JadenYukiNeoSpacian It was actually at least 30 millennia.

  • @mrmacross That makes me feel bad for him even more... Poor ravage. He's in a better future now...

  • @JadenYukiNeoSpacian but I imagine he must be really, really, really bored now.

You spend 30,000 years talking to nobody trying to find something to do, boredom must have been his ultimate enemy.

Then when Superman fell in the hole, he was calling with the mindset, "No! Now I'm going to be bored again!!"

He truly must lead a boring, boring, boring existence after destroying everything..

PS what kind of guy builds a time machine that can't send him back to a time in place he already existed in?

  • @Volts48 Technically, boredom isn't his enemy. He spent his years building his place and discovering the aspects of agriculture. He probably spent most of his time improving science, reading and building. I guess he can't go back to the time where he already existed because of something related to his affiliation. He probably became a good guy when he spent his years thinking about his wrong doings. If he goes back in time, he's going to mess up the future and possibly a worse one.

  • @Volts48 About the time machine; under current theory, unless you have a way of compensating for it, a temporal paradox is an insurmountable problem; you know, where you literally have a run-in with your past self, a la "Back to the Future".

  • ZERGLINGS

  • best episode ever

  • TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

  • potentially the BEST jl episode EVAAAAAA!!!!! i mean,i'm a guy and i got something in my eyes when superman "died",and just the WHOLE fucking episode was AWESOME!!!! especially the end.you feel sad when savage's sitting alone smiling like a madman infront of supes's tomb and you feel happy when people start appearing and whole history changes and you sad again when savage starts to disappear and happy when he accepts his death and is happy.what and episode :'(

  • Anyone else hope that Savage got his redemption and was able to live a good...eternity, as it were?

  • @sonrouge Yah, kinda sad in the end. I was thinking Savage vanishes, bc the future is different now. So where is he in the future? In a prison hole? I wished there was someway he could've stayed... They should've showed us what happened to him. I hope he's not still trying to destroy the world.

  • I friggin love savage in this episode, he's been alone for thousands of years and when he encounters supes, he shows such hospitality. great, just great

  • Comment removed

  • I kinda feel bad for Lobo, he wanted to join in but like Superman said he isn't right for the job.

  • Best line in this episode: ".....lunch?"

  • i thought that vandal savage has already insane....come on thousand of years alone..... i will get mad.....

  • @Atvgokilabis Maybe he just went so mad that he couldn't do anything but become sane again

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!

  • I dunno, once you get a time machine, you shouldn't really be in a rush. Once they got the machine running, I'd have hung out with Future-Savage for a while.

  • @inferno232 I agree. This version of Savage was pretty cool.

  • Dc Comics Or Marvel What Do You Guys Think?

  • @sebastianleandro67 how many actors who portrayed marvel characters got oscars

  • Thanks for uploading this cartoon. Lots of video with the funeral but none with the story after that.
