iTim Text - Send and Receive Free Picture MMS from iPod Touch using iTim Text

The carriers have rule to prevent picture spamming. Your friends must be replying to an iTim Picture Message you sent them first with a photo message. If your friend tries to reply to ur simple itim text message (no pic attached) with an MMS, the carriers will not deliver it.

So do this, send your friend a pic message from your iPod and ask them to reply to your pic message with a Photo or Video. You will always receive the MMS.

So you sayin I can turn my unlimited text and picture messages completly off and use this and I cell number will show up on other cell phones when I text them

We have a lot of users that have turned off their text messaging services since they got iTim. No, your cellnumber will not show on your friends phone. Your itim address will show and they can reply to it and you will get it on iTim.

Only if you are using an iPod Touch. If you are using an iPhone, iTim Text App can use your 3G or Edge service

@2128fire What is itim nickname? Or send a itim msg to itim-support and we will be glad to help you. If itim-support is not in your all itims page in the app, create a new message and click the button to the left of the emoticon button. This will switch the to field from phone number to nickname mode. This mode allows you to text other itim users. Enter "itim-support" to start an itim conversation with our support team

@biggie323 Yes you can. Actually the latest update version 2.1 allows you to not only text metro but send picture and video messages to metropcs phones and also receive photos and videos from metropcs phones.

This app has the potential to be great, but where's the part where you show a text from a regular phone to iTim?? I have tried several times to do this, and it doesn't work. Where is the support iTim????

Texting a user "@user" to 3109043113 is too complex for someone texting into iTim. User should have a set address! Fix this!!!

@sumbich You can also reach support by switching to nickname mode in a new message (button to the left of the emoticon button) and entering "itim-support" in the TO field and send a message. We are 24 7, don't hesitate. We are here for you. :)

@BabieRice Thanks about the video. We just added some more. You still need to have internet access though. So if you can still get edge internet with T-mobile and cancel your text messaging, then yes, you will be able receive texts sent to your itim app
