It's funny how this single song/ movie reminds us all of different times.

For me I was 8 years old and I had flown out to Houston to see my older brother and his girlfriend at the time. We ended up renting the movie and my older (favourite) cousin joined us. We sat around watching the movie, playing games, and eating snacks. That had been such a peaceful time before things went sour. Watching it now ten years later, I wish those times would have lasted longer. <3

i remember watching this on the day of my birthday when i was 10.It had been a rough day my teacher yelled at me and called me an idiot. when i got home i went into my room and cried. I lethargically layed in silence and darkness in my bed my face damped by the tear soaked pillow. i watched the rain drops race down my window, the street lights glimmered brightly. Then my mother popped in my room gave me some tea and popped spirted away in my dvd player. best birthday ever :)

I've seen this movie at least 100 times and I'm not exaggerating. It's so beautiful and moving. Everything about Spirited Away is perfect! The art, story, characters and the music. The music...simply beautiful! Joe Hisashi is a genius! A true genius! I listen to this almost everyday and I will carry on doing so for as long as I shall live! Ok, the last part was OTT but I appreciate the dramatic sides of life! >.<

I remember when I was 7 my aunt showed me this movie. At first I was completely clueless of what was happening or what was going on. All I knew was that this movie managed to make me cry, especially this song. This past September I barely remembered the name, and I got it for Christmas.

Now that I know what it's truly about, it will forever become a classic for me.

I first watched this movie with my favorite Aunt and Uncle in the world when I was about five years old. Their house was my favorite place on earth... it was sort of an old cabin/farmhouse by a lake in a huge forest... it had so many wonders in it for me. They were smart, and they taught me how to see the stars differently. When I was eight, my uncle died of cancer, and my aunt had to move. Now this movie makes me cry for a different reason... because it makes me remember that time years ago :')
