@highway955 Dale's not the 4th car anymore. Mark Martin's taken that role since he's leaving after the year's over. Jr.'s sitting in chase contention right now, and he's in the same shop as J.J. Rick even said the benefit was supposed to be for all three treams, but it was no doubt Mark was gonna be #4. Jr.'s got Steve Letarte, and they're on the verge of finally winning again, and Jeff Gordon's got two wins- not bad for a guy who "sucks," huh?- Jimmie Jokeson's gonna choke. You can see it.

@BADASSED88 And another thing to say, it's a lot of pressure on Jr.'s shoulders when your father was the great Dale Earnhardt, let alone he was killed. That fear is in everyone's, not just Jr.'s, mind when they're in a stock car. When your dad was a great, great driver, that's even more pressure. Plus, Dale's grandaddy Ralph was also an outstanding driver. Dale Jr. had the same thing as Kyle Petty. Kyle's father and grandfather were Richard and Lee Petty, and Adam died.

@BADASSED88 And plus, you know the saying "there's no 'I' in team?" well, the same goes for NASCAR. As much as people just wanna give credit for the driver, there's a team effort required in NASCAR. Jimmie Johnson wouldn't have ever won even one of his five titles if it wasn't for Chad Knaus, his pit crew, and his team. There's also luck that plays into racing. Incase people are too much of idiots to realize, Jr.'s really, really close to breaking his dry-spell. I think he's gonna do it.

Yeah, he wasn't getting anywhere with McGrew, and I'd hate to say it, but he wasn't getting too far with Tony Eury Jr., either. He got one win with him, that's about it. Now he has Steve Letarte, and he now has a shot to make the chase again.

Even though it was fuel milage, he still had to drive to get in that position, didn't he? And he used to be the guy to beat at Bristol. I know Bristol's a different track now, but still. I think he got second at Indy in '08, didn't he? Richmond's another good track for him. I think he can make it.
