@catsend, do you mean the version when Santo and Colleen are John's parents? I hated that rewrite, it was so stupid. I liked this one with John and Tony as brothers much more.
Same here, especially when the bad "Tony" turned out to be really Andre. Even the good Tony isn't terribly good, but he's not nuts like Andre. Talk about another hot guy in jeans.
I agree! Especially because John was supposed to be Shawn Sr.'s son... It would have been cool for Daphne DiMera to have a Brady descendant and a DiMera descendant, and for that to have been part of the reason for the feud.
Then, John and Tony were basically the next generation of Shawn and Stefano's battle.
Funny thing is, the first time I ever used that line was about a different Days character, Mike Horton (Pretender's Michael T. Weiss), at the age of 9 or 10. I love so many characters on Days over the years.
Oh, yeah. Michael T. Weiss is the "real Mike Horton" to me. I like redheads, so I didn't dislike Critchlow, but I didn't think he did a good Mike Horton at all. I missed the crazy Mike with the long hair and the zany Groucho Marx impressions and all the trouble he was always getting into. Critchlow's Mike had nothing on him personality-wise, though was perhaps prettier. Maybe.
I just looked him up on Wikipedia, he's the most recast character on Days, as he went through 16 different actors from birth through Roark Critchlow. Wesley Eure (don't remember him) played him 1974-1981, Michael T. Weiss played him 1985-1990, and Roark Critchlow played him 1994-1999, when he was last seen.
What a great scene. I was looking for it after I saw another clip that comes after this. Never saw this before. Thanks you!

I think the latest version of the "truth" is even weirder than John being Tony's brother. At least they're about the same age.

@JohnMarlenaForever Also, Roark Critchlow's coming back as Mike Horton sometime relatively soon, and he's playing someone on the new "V".
