Ok First il tell you how to do it if anyone doesnt understand just he made a thruster witch he activates with 7 and then he made a button that Activates with 7 and spanwed the button and pressed it and the Thruster actiavted (and this works for Hydrulatics)

you might needs others mod to accomplish that, basically, the Button allow you to press any numpad button for you. So if X object can be mapped to numpad, the button can take care of it.

watch the video carefully a few time, and you'll know why: the answer is probably because your buttons are mapped to un-used keypad number

I think you can remap the buttons to other ones. Beside, look for a FN button on your laptop, you might have the numpad in the letters.

Laptops have the num-keys though. See a button on your laptop called "Fn" it stands for function and is usually a different colored text then the keyboard keys. And on some letters and numbers on your laptop keyboard contains little numbers that match/(or doesnt match) the color on the Fn key. Press the Fn key (and hold the fn key) While your pressing the little colored numbers.(the ones that match the Fn [or dont match] key) And those numbers represent the numbers you would have on a num-pad

what ever number that you set on lets say thrusters, the button has to be that same number.

this didn't help me at all.i put a thruster on a box. and i put a button there just like this. i press the button, and nothing happens.

Here's how it's done. Example: when you make a thruster it asks you which button to use for push or for pull.When you make the button, choose for it to emulate a key. Here: thruster push-8 ; button emulation-8. So when you press the button it will be like pressing 8 on your keypad and the thruster will push.
