Yeah your Dhalsim is complete ass and is probably the reason why a lot of newcomers are put off by this game. That aside, the rufus player should of used focus attack on your yoga sniper and dive kicked you after he knocked you down. Dont take comfort in mocking this guy because you are barely better than him (at the time of this video).

Just to point out, running away or attacking from afar isn't 'being a bitch' or 'being cheap'. Especially not with DHALSIM. If Rufus keeps walking into jumping fierce and yoga fires, why stop? If someone can't tech throws and you catch on, start throwing. Honorable play is thrown around far too often, and it doesn't progress your game. Getting thrown all day on XBL? Learn how to prevent that. Can't get in on Dhalsim? Do some research. Calling a strat cheap doesn't lessen the fact you fell to it.

He is pretty much turtlin' though. It's common trick with Dhalsim. Yeah you have to do whatever you can to win, but when you're gonna play the properly and run away that's just pathetic. 2 Dhalsim players (Yogaflame 24 and Lark0) have proved Dhalsim is a serious character. I agree with balancing, but due to this games ridiculous, moving-through-turds slowness, dhalsim is now the cheapest character. How much skill does it take to jump back, press fierce and jump again? This guy could have done so much with Rufus to avoid what happened. His rolling forward mid kick would have covered the ground between dhalsims heavy punch but dhalsim is grim and i really don't agree with his tactics bit too cowardly for my liking but still a character in the game nonetheless.
Wow, some commentors here really don't know what they're talking about do they? If a single tactic work perfectly against this opponent, why the hell would you change it? The fact that the Rufus player can't counter a tactic after he's being hit OVER 20 TIMES, just means that he's a terrible player, and the Dhalsim player keeps using the tactic because he has this thing that we normal people call: Common sense.
Personally I feel that despite weakness and strengths of each character, any player who is really good and knows their own character well enough would be able to overcome this obstacle. On the same note if you are a casual player, you shouldn't bother to bitch, if you're competitive, you should be dogging yourself not the other player cause you were the one who didn't know how to deal with it. This goes regardless what game you play, otherwise you just a sore loser :).

If they stick with it they got no reason to cry rly, if they just want to win, find another char. No reason to be a bad sport unless you just messin.

Otherwise everybody would use Ryu don't ya think? The guy using anyone else but Ryu would then be playing not just to win, but win on their own terms. The terms make it harder or easier, but the player agreed to them when they choose this char. So in the end, the only failure is on the players part, or the opp played very well.

I agree with balancing, but due to this games ridiculous, moving-through-turds slowness, dhalsim is now the cheapest character. How much skill does it take to jump back, press fierce and jump again? Maybe that guys lame for ragequitting, but people like you better enjoy the game alot, cus no one else likes your ass and all u do is exploit its bustedness

Whatever, maybe Dhalsim is supposed to be played like a coward, but people like you make this game garbage. The fact that I have to pick a shoto for the dragon punch, because otherwise you can just teleport and run is garbage. If the jump weren't so slow, Dhalsim would be partially useless. Instead of balancing shit, they made all the weak characters more powerful and cheap. The priority in this game is broken and if this were the good old days of the arcade, you'd get socked in the mouth

You pretty much HAVE to pick a shoto or play in the most tedious and impeccable way with characters who have no fireballs. Also, i am a loser, but i am a proud loser. This guy could have done so much with Rufus to avoid what happened. His rolling forward mid kick would have covered the ground between dhalsims heavy punch but dhalsim is grim and i really don't agree with his tactics bit too cowardly for my liking but still a character in the game nonetheless.

Wow, some commentors here really don't know what they're talking about do they? If a single tactic work perfectly against this opponent, why the hell would you change it? The fact that the Rufus player can't counter a tactic after he's being hit OVER 20 TIMES, just means that he's a terrible player, and the Dhalsim player keeps using the tactic because he has this thing that we normal people call: Common sense.

Personally I feel that despite weakness and strengths of each character, any player who is really good and knows their own character well enough would be able to overcome this obstacle. On the same note if you are a casual player, you shouldn't bother to bitch, if you're competitive, you should be dogging yourself not the other player cause you were the one who didn't know how to deal with it. This goes regardless what game you play, otherwise you just a sore loser :).

@AIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Your little opinion has a large hole. Take Ryu a character that doesnt have to work that hard to do things. VS Guy a character who has to do alot to beat most people. Basically your telling the Guy to outplay the Ryu. But what if the Ryu plays just as hard as the Guy but because his character does more damage great keep away in that fight and priority. He will win. So your opinion is basically saying to outplay someone. Not a bad one. Just one thats not going to work often.

@ManowarHeigou no hole when you consider everything. The person using Guy, if he played to win, he'd probably pick a char as good as Ryu, or just pick Ryu as well. Not everybody plays JUST to win, many play to win on their own terms. Having set their terms(weakness/str's based on char chosen) they know or will know how the char will fair vs others. If they stick with it they got no reason to cry rly, if they just want to win, find another char. No reason to be a bad sport unless you just messin.

I stay and lose or win or w.e Im just saying this game isnt totally balanced and some match ups are really really really really really really BAD! So say Guy vs Abel or Makoto vs Guile both awful atleast a 6/4 for the Guy Abel and atleast a 7/3 for the makoto guile. Just saying some characters are better then others overall.

Theres some characters that are just superior to others overall. AKA more priority range and options. Which is why id say Guy has to out play Ryu. He has more options but way less priority and range. So he has to outplay a Ryu who cant shake him off in 1 move and can do his damage in 4 hit combos or less. Cya man have a nice day

@ManowarHeigou I know man, we just having a friendly discussion :D. All I am saying is every char is diff, and that's why it appeals to people to use diff chars. Otherwise everybody would use Ryu don't ya think? The guy using anyone else but Ryu would then be playing not just to win, but win on their own terms. The terms make it harder or easier, but the player agreed to them when they choose this char. So in the end, the only failure is on the players part, or the opp played very well.

Im just saying certain characters are better with more priority options and range on attacks which can be seen as priority also. So certain ones are better then others. So there are better overall characters. But its SSF4 it has some serious messed up shit so its not surprising that theres worse and better characters overall.

Goodness people. You pick a character, you learn their strengths, learn their weaknesses and develop your style of play accordingly. So Dhalsim has extendable limbs and projectiles and you or your opponent is trying to win with him. What would you expect?
I understand playing against someone like that is frustrating but it's better to learn ways around it rather than start name calling and such. If it bothers you that much, then don't play.
