Its great everyone has the same reaction when they hear Congratulations, its like WTF IS THIS.. But you love Oracular Spectacular so much that you cant' really believe they made this piece of psychedelic shit. Then sometime around the 4th forced listen you realize its pure genius and it enters loop rotation multiple times a day. AMAZING band... Such great energy and originality.

I would consider Congratulations for sure Psychedelic Rock when Oracular Spectacular was more Synthpop indeed. Congratulations is a newer sound for them and personally I love it. The two songs in the videos are like 60's Psychedelic pop songs. When i heard Siberian Breaks it fucking blew my mind. And they sound great live. I mean, what the hell more would you want? lol

'Congratulations' is better than "Oracular" in many ways to me. It's more of a psychedelic rock album than a psych/ electro pop album. Son't get me wrong though, "Oracular Spectacular" is fucking awesome!
