All eight classes will have some kind of healing capability. Jedi/Sith will have various Force spells, Smugglers and Troopers have medical drones, Agents are cited as having some kind of healing tech, and at that rate there's no point in having the Bounty Hunter be the odd man out.
This game makes the dated warcraft graphics look even better..pretty dissapointing stuff,would expect something a bit better looking.or they have just geared it to the low end for more sales /shrug

This game looks good but dont be sure of anything till it is released. I have been playing wow for years and I wanted to switch to FF14 online and it turned out to be disaster. So though I have high expectations for this game I am not that excited because we there are so many other things that make a MMo success than just good combat. Players need good content and variety. @dubbeltid have you seen any bounty hunter vs jedi knight vids? the jedi knight could barely hit the bounty hunter! also it's roleplaying is the biggest thing. good roleplaying games isnt you playing a role like healer or tank it's capturing what you would want to be if you were actually in the star wars universe and the classes pretty much cover it all. also with you actually being able to chose what you do and say and that actually changes the outcome of future quests this is a complete MMORPG
@bboypab It's retarded how fast you can go from 1-80. Even if you aren't leveling an alt and using +XP gear it's still a very fast process. For me? If this thing can capture that Mass Effect/Dragon Age RPG feel I loved, I don't care if it takes me 6 months to max out. So long as the story keeps coming.

Does anyone know if there is going to be anything similar to the previous MMORPG Star wars galaxies? Like will there be Vehicles, house deeds, customizable clothing options, buffs, and other stuff in the old republic? Please someone reply cause im not sure if i want to spend 200 dollars upgrading my computer for this game...I kinda want it to be like Star Wars galaxies.

@IhelpU4XBL it will mainly be just story missions with some side missions.you can cloth yourself but im not sure if there will be deeds.

@IhelpU4XBL well judging by the fact that the official site has a video of some bounty hunter armors and says " just a few of the thousands of sets of armor" I'd assume the other classes have just as many option, buffs and whatnot i'm sure as they are a staple in almost every mmo, houses I dunno because they said every player will get a mid-size ship as a vehicle and mobile base there may be no need for stationary homes, but i'm sure it will have all the normal things SWG had like every MMO

Does anyone know if this is going to be one mahoosive server or multiple ones? Also, if 'one server', is it going to be like the pain in the arse system stop had where you and a friend would say 'meet me there' and both go there, only to end up on totally different servers/instances but in the same spot?

@jam2220 They already confirmed subscriptions, the only kind of microtransactions i expect are the ones similiar to other games. Like character transfer, aspect change, etc. About rumors, i heard one that said this game would be $10 a month, cheaper than others. That would be cool.

@Batou3 What do you mean? You think their gonna add a free year of LIVE card with purchase?! It will probably only be a 1 free month subscription. Halo was Microsofts baby and they only got a 1 month card with purchase of Halo 3. What makes you think Lucas Arts is gonna be any different? Don't get me wrong, I'd love a free year subscription. I'd take a 6 month too! But if it were a 1 month, I'll go slap George Lucas in the face right now for that bad humor!

they sure know how to make a healer class look bad ass! now we wont need to worry about very little healers and they also know how to tank tank classes sexy and the dps look like the okay class where a lot of poeple would be but now might try tanking and healing! sweet!

@dubbeltid have you seen any bounty hunter vs jedi knight vids? the jedi knight could barely hit the bounty hunter! also it's roleplaying is the biggest thing. good roleplaying games isnt you playing a role like healer or tank it's capturing what you would want to be if you were actually in the star wars universe and the classes pretty much cover it all. also with you actually being able to chose what you do and say and that actually changes the outcome of future quests this is a complete MMORPG

@bboypab It's retarded how fast you can go from 1-80. Even if you aren't leveling an alt and using +XP gear it's still a very fast process. For me? If this thing can capture that Mass Effect/Dragon Age RPG feel I loved, I don't care if it takes me 6 months to max out. So long as the story keeps coming.

Lets just hope that its not another level based, grinding session like all the other MMO's out there. If you do not know what I mean by level based as opposed to skill based, please refrain from ignorant comments. WoW, SWG, DDO, etc. etc are level based, the toons gain levels. EVE is a skill based game, no levels, just an acquisition of skills, which is better, but EVE did it all wrong and used an awesome template to create yet again, another grind session.

@jharrod123 it's level based. They want to remove grind, they will give more xp for doing missions (quests) and less for killing mobs.
