OK time for me to own up. This is one of the songs that I've been trying forever to figure out how to play on a single kick pedal. Also up until now I've had an illogical resentment towards you for being in the Pumpkins when I thought I should be in. Chalk that up to pure jealousy.

This is the video that changed my entire perspective on you. You're freaking amazing, and although I've been worshipping Jimmy Chamberlin like mad, you have my respect. Rock on sir, I'd like to shake your hand :)

Y'know, I was worried when Jimmy left the Pumpkins again. Then I heard this version of Tristessa. Damn, this IS the Smashing Pumpkins. Great stuff.

There's actually a rawness and direct quality that's been missing from the Pumpkins for years on this show as well. That's not really to do with the new line-up, perhaps Billy's general attitude. And no wacky dresses.
