@2manynegativewaves swearwords are often impossible to translate to other languages. what comes to measurements of time it would make sense they don't use our 24hour day calendar as length of days is different. and year is only 365 or so days, therefore in another planet may be 400 days which wouldn't be called year anymore. aliens wouldn't use the same distance units either than us, or would u think they'd prefer miles over kilometers, or other way around?

@2manynegativewaves Also we have imperial and metric, celsius and farenheit much of these can't be translated in to another only coverted by formula.
