I never read the manga. I just went to borders in the palisades mall and just finished reading book 3 and i have to say that this anime and the manga are almost the same word for word which is awesome because most anime dont follow the manga but this anime almost fallows the manga exactly with only a couple things off wit the words but its almost perfect.

@gameprincess99 Highschool of the dead is great it only has 14 i think also like Bakemonegatari and it has 12 - 14 GREAT anime its sad because most of the Really well animated and storylined ones are so short. you get so attached to the main characters only to be yanked away so violently.
