@360GamerWalkthroughs he was rather far but there is a huge chance of survival closer to the blast. A Japanese woman survived the atom bomb in Hiroshima 60 feet away from the blast. Not a scientist but i thought i might as well crumple it up, put in in a straw, and blow it out there ya' know? :)

It took some guts to put a scene like this, and a long list of casualties like that, in a game. If there was a NUKE in Iraq or Afghanistan, tactically timed, you'd have similar US casualties. Not to mention, all the many "martyr's" and civilian deaths.

The list of names are the US Marine casualtites because of the nuke. The blue name is Sgt. Paul Jackson, the marine you play as.

So when you "wake up", note that you don't have a wepaon and fellow Marines and no enemy around.

I hate that they kill roach and ghost. Jacksons death is acceptable because they knew that they were gonna die if they saved pelayo so it was an honorable death. Roachs death was bullshit and so was ghosts because sheperd betrayed his own men for his own gain. I'm glad they are having downloadable levels were you play as ghost. Yay.
