wanna know something weerd? Sepherath is the weakest boss in the series. He may be the last, but he dies in one hit, know matter what! (at least that's the case in ff3 USA, which I used to play on my babysitter's snes).
You should make that random cloud from super mario RPG. it very rarely ever pops up but when it does and you dicide to touch it. it will kill you so fast. I never defeated one. it might even be invincible.
Ah.. I remember back in the day on the SNES hunting the Brachiosaurs for MP and the items.
Flash forward to when I got it last year, I did the same. They're really not that tough, if you take the time to develop your characters in either magic power or strength. A couple Atma (Ultima) weapons, high HP and the Offering//Genji Glove combo for fighters, and the Gem Box Economizer with Ultima casters make short work of them. Running into them with low HP and without the proper equipment, though bad
@almightyscorpion You could say any enemy in Final Fantasy is easy with the right equipment. Doesn't mean the Brachiosaur is weak, it's as dangerous as some of the toughest bosses.
@whoisthisgit just looked on ff wiki. Kefka (final boss form) has 8 magic power and the brachiosaur has 25 magic power!! i think square mixed up who the true god of magic is. LOL
@almightyscorpion By the time you can set up such characters, you can kill Kefka in one turn.
And besides, you can't obtain two Atma weapons in the SNES version, because you get the other one from the third floor of the pre-final Boss, and cannot save past then. It's possible in the GBA version though.
Dude magic master pissed me off so bad, after 4 tries of climbing the damned tower 3 of which I was able to fight and lose to him. He used ultima and killed my whole freaking team. Didn't touch FF6 for a year and a half....
Y'know, the Brachiosaur is one of the two enemies I've ever feared in this game. And after a short while, I didn't fear it at all due to my repeatedly kicking its ass. The ONLY enemy that I've ever TRULY had trouble with? The Kaiser Dragon. That thing is a doozy. Took me three times to kill it (died within a minute the first time, three minutes the second time, and finally beat it the third time...after 10 minutes), and i only lived due to reraise.
SuperYoshi is right. I could swat Zeromus EG (final boss, alternate and much harder mode) without too much trouble long before I could beat Brachioraidos (even with max level characters, he's a dicey fight). And it's not exactly a boss.
You get those dinosaurs by going into some random forest. In FF12, you get hard overleveled monsters everywhere. Whenever I encounter an Entite, I'm worried one of my characters may attack it and cause it to pwn me with it's magic.
my secend strongest character is domotor leader well the first one he kills evrey one in one shot using night shade domotor leader + mewtwo+night shaded=die
Well, the strongest regular enemy in my opinion is the brachiardos (or whatever) from FFIV Advance. The thing wasn't a Superboss, had 180,000 HP (more then the Final Boss), and pretty much killed anything below Level 99 on the first turn. You can find it in the Lunar Ruins.
@SuperYoshi1141 I have never actually played through Final Fantasy IV before, because I find it too fiddly compared to later games. I should try the Advance or DS version.
However strong that enemy may be though, I picked the Brachiosaur for this video because it is my favourite strongest regular enemy of all the ones from each game. I'm also quite fond of some of the Monster Arena regular enemies from Final Fantasy X, though they are basically bosses.
I know it's ur favorite, I'm just saying you should try it. But the Advance version has a better challenge to it with an entire extra trial area (where Brachiardos is.)
@whoisthisgit Brachioraidos can be killed in a two hit combo before it gets a hit in.
Kain's ultimate weapon Abel's Lance, can randomly activate Tornado on an enemy when it hits, it works on this enemy you just need someone else to land the finishing attack.
Brachioraidos who appears in Final Fantasy IV Advance as a roaming sprite in the bonus dungeon, he instantly uses Glare which without serious Fire protecion is one hit kill on a party member, he then starts using Mega Flare and Globe 199 one every party member during a count down starting at 5.
But doesn't the GBA version have inferior sound quality to the SNES version? That's pretty much the only thing I'm worried about. Same thing with the DS Chrono Trigger.
@RocMegamanX To answer your question, yes, the GBA version does have worse sound quality, but I thought they still done a decent enough job with the sound track. Other than that, this version is superior to the SNES version in every way. The menus and names are more polished, (Phoenix Down, instead of Fenix Down) the dialogue is better, and lots of great new stuff, such as the new dungeon, The Dragon's Den.
Yikes, am I glad that a meteorite wiped out all the dinosaurs if the vegetarian ones were this dangerous! :O I would be getting killed and respawned every hour, even Lub Lub doesn't give me that much trouble! Actually, I think he might have had something to do with the meteorite, I'll have to thank him later. News just in: Hell just got a lot colder...
For the love of Tekken, do one for either Kazuya Mishima in Tekken 2 or Ogre in Tekken 3! (By the way, from what I've seen, True Ogre got hit with the nerf bat in the PSX version compared to the Arcade Version.)
Oh goddamn, the Brachiosaur...I learned to fear him, when I first started playing the SNES version on emulator. What a bastard!
Sorry I can't think of any suggestions. The only ones that come to mind are RPG enemies that really just depend on your skill level; they're not so much "difficult no matter what".
In some fights in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Richter is virtually unbeatable, and the actual outcome is for you to die. The same thing goes for Brute the first time you fight him. He is literally unbeatable and has unlimited health.
Another case is your first fight with Hubert, in which as soon as his health reaches zero, it turns to the value "???." Once you reach Arles break he blasts you with his ultimate move and you die instantly.
i likes FinalFantasy dragons and dinosaurs

OOOOHHH!!!! So it wasn't a meteor that killed the dinosaurs. It was the Brachiosaurs' overusing Ultima. Damn... Impressive.

Probably it's less famous but more powerful cousin?

I bet the Celestriad is the reason it can cast Ultima in the first place.

i used Relm in my team too, she had double spell after getting the item in fanatics tower, so double-ultima :D (2x9999)
i also had sabin, who was always using Bum Rush (9999)
Terra(Ultima (spell) or Ultima Weapon = 9999)
and Setzer, with dice and fixed dice, with the x-fight ability, so he was striking 8 times in a row and could hit for 20 000 damage.
i killed kefka in one turn XD

Ah... yes this guy. I remember him ALL too well...
I knew how tough he is thanks to Nintendo Power, I kept fighting him because I wanted that Celestriad. (And a few ribbons)
And I remember that one moment, I was keeping tabs on his health. I'm like: "Okay a few more attacks and I'm done!"
"Ultima"
Wipes out my intire party. It took all my effort of will not to throw my DS at the wall.
