  • gummo, kids and julien donkey boy changed my fucking life, the unimaginable depths of brilliance mr. korine must have access 2 ill never know

  • harmony koren is the most original genius of my generation 100 years from now hell b looked at as another giant of cinima along the likes of david lynch and stanley kubrick

  • @Bossk333 to confuse you

  • This may be the greatest ending to any movie I've ever seen! Mesmerising stuff Mr. Korine!

  • @SlashIsAmazin nah, Harmony likes to keep it weird. he's probably like 12 :P

  • 2 people never found their cats.

  • i never really understood... why is it called gummo?

  • @jameDmeLody2998 I think gummo is another word for redneck.

  • @jameDmeLody2998 there is no reason?

  • @jameDmeLody2998 forgotten marx brother, these people are essentially "forgotten" :)

  • Incredible film. Check out my version of the bathing scene. For some reason it's not as hard hitting as Harmony's.

As for this song, i genuinely well up whenever i see this. The vacant look in the rain, which i can't sum up in words, is fucking perfect.

  • this scene is just so Beautiful,

Harmony Korine your my favorite director of all time!

  • I find this scene is really heartbreaking. I think it has to do with Nick Sutton who plays Tummler; there's something really sad and longing in his expressions. And the footage of the tornado. This scene just gets me every time I watch it.

  • Is this supposed to be Xenia, Ohio?

  • I have goosebumps all over from this scene. I truly love this film.

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THIS SCENE!

  • where can i find this version?

  • omg this movie was so disturbing

  • This literally sends a shiver up my spine everytime

  • one of the greatest movies ever made in a month

  • Saw this movie some months ago, really good movie, though disturbing. The director definitely went against society in this one...

  • honestly... this song had me crying and the way Korine just fits it so wonderfully in this final scene of the movie.... just fantastic

  • I personally found this part beautiful.

  • This is the strange and indescribable beauty characteristic of great art. The first time I tried to watch this film I HATED it and turned it off. The next night, I figured I paid for the rental, might as well watch it... by the time this song was over I knew I would never see movies the same way again.

  • Favorite ending scene to a great original piece of work... basically about white trash, respectively.

  • The other weird and extraordinarily good movie you can hear this song in is Mulholland Drive by David Lynch.

  • The combination of this song and the scene in the swimming pool just gets me. I love this movie so much

  • Sick bastards.

  • It's a good thing I've got the dvd then ;)

  • It's a good thing I've got the dvd then ;)

  • It's a good thing I've got the dvd then ;)

  • Looks like YouTube just deleted the popular Orbison Black&White night live late 80's performance of "Crying" so that's a shame since that's the best existing live version out there

  • @slackmaster2000 look up 'savetube' on google so you can download it too your computer (copy paste url too savetube) and not have too worry about if it gets taken down

  • i loved this movie still do... epic.. all hail harmony korine pure genius

  • great film and ending

  • Yeah, I only wish YouTube would stop deleting the videos I keep uploading. I've got a truckful of clips of cool indie/pop songs used in movies.

  • @revolstar Can You Send My Some cool/indiepop songs ?

  • this is a film

  • I cant believe I was so curious about this movie after watching the x factor that I searched for it on you tube. Glad to see I'm not alone. The movie actually looks good too from the clips I've seen.

  • did they mention gummo on x factor? man i really wanna see that.

  • @archbold1206 the x factor? never heard of it, i love how they mutilate the cats....yet they're tryng to sell them to that black dude....why mess up the product right? I love this movie...i hate hollywood...when i see somehting fucked up liek this i love it....notice how every single actor was believable?? in hollywood i see fuckin nicolas cage play so many gay ass rolls...when theres thousands of good, up and coming actors that are capable of playing these rolls really well... i love indie...

  • yea x factor got me looking also... If it had not been for louie's bitching, I would never had found it :)

  • lol when they say it has a lack of a plot they mean it i thought it was interesting but its not that special, i just hope there aren't people out there like the characters in gummo

  • @kevin2849 i've met some people just like them... believe me, they're out there

  • @kevin2849 There are people out there exactly like these characters... in fact these "characters" aren't really even actors... I think the main purpose of the film was to show people like you that these kind of people exist

  • @ThyTone They are actors, just not trained actors. He just picked them up on the streets for the main part in order to have faces that trained actors don't usually have (like Solomon for instance, he got a really characteristic figure).

  • @schink24 hes got a marvelous persona..

  • check LLORANDO MUllholand drive, spanish gorgeous version too. well done Simon, 2 cult movies in one:)

  • x factor got me here aswell haha , how bad do we all just want louis to see this right now?? some 1 copy and paste the link to xfactor home page
