Jesus what an idiot.... no matter if hes trying to show how it works he could have show us better reprises than just shifting in a straight line like an idiot. Im sorry I just watch this stupid video.
Semi-sequential shifter from Japan. No H-Gate mistakes like 2nd to 5th, etc. I-Gate shifting with gear indicator eliminates many shifting problems allowing for more focus on actually driving, i.e; Rally, Drag-Racing, Time-Attacks, etc.
If you had read properly I said he'd need a dog engagement gear set for clutchless up shifts, "G". And yes there is a point even if you can't do that, no missed gears. AND it comes with an ignition cutting device, but until you get dog gears it isn't needed. The device is very handy in rallying and timeattack as if you miss a gear in that the seconds count a lot. Also it is irrelevant if this particular car isn't for racing as it is merely being used to display the hardware for serious racers

HAH!!! bigvolgin you make me laugh!
Why in god's name is he shifting so damn much? We can see how it works without him slapping the god damned shifter back and forth 500 times in 10 seconds. It appears that he still has to use the clutch on upshifts btw, so this may not even be truly sequential. It's just some fucking rice lever or some shit.
Sequential simply refers to the movement the shift requires, so yes it is a true sequential. He's showing you can hammer it and it won't break, it is $2.5-3.5k. It is not infact a 'rice' lever, it was designed for racing to ensure no gears are missed. Combine it with a PPG dogbox and you could accelerate to 5th without touching the clutch or backing off the throttle once as it has a computer to cut revs during shift.Money worth spent on a race car if you ask me

If he doesn't need the clutch for upshifts, why is he using it in this demonstration? It sure as hell is a rice lever, g. There's no point if you're going to still need to use the clutch. It's worth noting that this is obviously a street car that may see occasional track time, but it's not a race car.
He needs an ignition cutting device with a pressure sensor that "senses" when he shifts and cuts ignition in order to not use the clutch. It is a RICE LEVER without the rest of the shit son.
you don't get it...he is pumping gas with that stick into the engine. its a manual injection. you lose horsepower, but you have arms like schwarzenegger ...
Nice Rotus Erise ;D

He's just showing how it works. I'm sure he doesn't shift like that all the time.
